It had an Indoor and outdoor table service. A very Cool bar pub in Milan - music playing- good vibe feel place. We stopped in before dinner for drinks and apps. It had Lots of food choices on the menu by QR code available- we stopped in to take a break and get some drinks and relax. They were all nice servers to take our order and pitch in if we needed anything. It appears some food too at the counter to order by yourself perhaps. We would definitely come back again when in Milan. It is a fun place to hang out- Enjoy. read more

Well it seems like the true Apericena with the unlimited buffet included with your drink is sadly a thing of the past in Milan. This place to a certain extent keeps the tradition going though...During Happy Hour 5;30-9;00 for 10 Euros you get a drink and 2 plates of food you can choose...One plate Hot Dishes and One plate of Cold Appetizers...Drinks are Excellent, not huge but well mixed, and STRONG...My Negroni definitely made me Happy...The Food is good quality and fresh...Bar has been around since 1907 so old school Milan ambience...Staff is friendly and speaks some english... Great food and value! We were looking for a place nearby the castle to have some quick bite and saw this place having a happy hour going on, so we decided to stop by. It turned out to be our favorite bar in Milan so far. The staff were friendly and quick to take order. We did the apperitivo (happy hour) which included a drink and a buffet for 9.5 euros/person and that was probably the best buffet for that price range I have ever had. All the food was fresh and tasty with a great variety. For our drinks, we got pink lady and hugo. Both were fruity and refreshing, very well mixed. I specifically liked the hugo more but the pink lady was also very nice. One thing I found awkward is that I ordered the hugo drink after my beer, which was included in the apperitivo, and the server gave me a receipt and asked me to pay right away after he brought out the drink. Then after we finished dining there, we'd pay for the apperitivo separately. I was a bit surprised but maybe that was just how they do it there, so just be aware so that you won't have a culture shock if it happens to you. read more

In a couple guide books, so usually crowded. But panini are decent, beer is cold, and price is fair. It's a good place to grab a quick lunch in between the Basilica and the Leonardo museum. Before you order, walk around the counters and see the food, check out the beer taps. I find it's easier to decide when you know exactly what it'll look like. read more

A very nice place if you are a westerner looking for a pub atmosphere. Milan is very anti pub for some reason but it could be the neighborhood. We didn't have any food but some say it is decent. The staff was very nice and attentive. read more

Such a lovely little bar! We stopped by after seeing all the main sights. Menu is simple, but the food was so fresh and tasty! I had the roasted chicken salad, which was perfect and light. First day in Italy and after a disastrous start of trying to find a good boba place in Chinatown(yup..no good boba in Chinatown..sad life) we decided to go check this place out out for some good Italian breakfast. We ended up getting a chocolate brioche, a regular brioche and ended up getting an Marocchino as well. The Brioche were fresh and delightful but the cake for the day definitely went to Maricchino (came as a recommendation from the server). The place itself is pretty casual and the staff is responsive and very friendly (I guess it's an Italian thing..lol). If you're in Milan and in for a light breakfast I would definitely recommend this place. Also, this place is over a 100 years old so quite a history there as well. Ciao! :) read more

It's located near Cadorna Station, in the almost central area of Milan, and has the flavour of the ancient "Milano da Bere" mood. (It had been the location in which a famous old italian movie have been recorded). Here you can have good drinks, good food and...very interesting "life". read more

This is a nice place for a drink, though I was there in the early afternoon so I have no idea how it would be at any other time of day. If you sit in the bar section there isn't service - you have to order at the bar. read more

Just horrible! I don't know how all good reviews came to be. Service is outrageous. You have to wait 20 minutes to be served. No English whatsoever. After ordering a simple burger you have to wait half an hour and what you get is a stale salad in your burger with a side of fries with a taste and smell of fish and a half a pound of salt on them. Centrally located, near Cadorna Station and the Catholic University, I always had a good time at the Bar Magenta. During the daytime it's mainly a cafè for employees of the nearby offices during lunch break, but after working hours you'll find a lot of people enjoying an aperitif before returning home, or sipping a good drink till late. read more

On April 25, 2019 we found this bar by chance. We walked in and were well looked after. Good taste and good wine, good atmosphere and fair prices. The next day, after walking all day through Milan, we decided to return to this bar due to being very close to our hotel. SORRY decision !!! Walked in (my wife and I), asked for a cold plate and a wine. In the middle of the meal the waiter arrived with the bill. I told him I had not asked for the bill. He was surprised and called the bartender. This guy, with all the rudeness he could have, started shouting that whoever determines when you pay the bill is him. I argued that I had been there the night before and that I had paid the bill when we finished. The individual became increasingly rude and aggressive. I asked to call the manager and he said he was the manager. He said then that he is a lousy manager. I said I would not pay the bill until it was over. He came back behind the bar and was so agitated and angry that he almost broke the glasses while he made the drinks. When we finished, I called the waiter and paid the bill. Of course we ask for nothing more. A complete unprepared to be a manager or anything else whatever. DO NOT recommend this place. Poor choice. read more

We came here for a midday coffee, and enjoyed the people watching. It's in a hip neighborhood, somewhat like the Mission or East Village.

This place is definitely more of a fast grub than a quality meal. The food is not the greatest but the staff are friendly and accommodating. All in all not a bad place to stop at for a quick lunch. read more
