Very cool cocktail bar recommendby our friends in London. We sat near the bar and had a difficult time selecting drinks as so many of them looked amazing. I started with a Grand Prix which was Campari, rhubarb and China liquor, hazelnut, fig and seltzer. It ended up tasting like and adult cola which was great. I next tried the Montego Bay which was bourbon, rum, sherry, lime, honey and pimento dram. It was a very refreshing cocktail served in a coupe. The snacks are great and include some house made pizzette puffs which were our favorite. Later they walked us across the street to their tiki bar location and treated us to a drink. This location is also worth an evening if you want to try something fairly unique. Fantastic experience. read more

Loved everything about Rita's! The drinks are absolutely perfect and have the perfect balance of sweetness (which is hard when it comes to Tiki drinks), the decor totally transports you and the music creates such a vibe. We were so happy to come here and Alessandro the bartender took such great care of us. You can tell the love and care that went into this place. Even the owner, Chiara, greeted us on our way in and out. OOH and the apertivo snacks!! So delicious and beyond generous. Recommended by a few food blogs, we came to Rita on a Saturday night around 11pm and yes, people are flocking to Rita. If you are lucky to get seated at the bar counter you can see all the action happening while these drinks are handcrafted by the high energy bartenders. The whole team works extremely seamless together - from getting us seated (very friendly and orderly) to getting our drink, make payment to even ordering us a taxi on a busy Saturday night - nothing is too much trouble or eye roll. The crowd is mixed with all ages, with great drinks and friendly staff. You will have a great time. read more

What a surprise! Walking around randomly saw this busy place in the canal area of Milan. First the place is a fun and super cool scene. Great music and feel. The drink list is anazing and the drinks were delicious! The staff is fun and super accommodating -- you can see they love working there so their attitude is infectious to us customers. Having arrived during happy hour they give free duck rolls and a big platter of great munchies. Truly a great fun place!! Stop by if you're in Milan. read more

My friend knew that I needed a martini after two months in Europe, and she researched Rita. It's no easy feat to find a martini in France, Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, etc. So, when I got a James Bond-style, regular old gin martini here, I almost cried. My friend ordered a drink that was not called a Bloody Mary but was a great version of one that knocked her socks off. We were also enchanted by the carrot and celery sticks with tomato dipping sauce. Simple and lovely. Highly recommend for cocktails. Indoor and outdoor seating. They know their stuff. Just delightful. It's in a great area for finding a nice place to eat on the canal as well. read more

What a GREAT place!!! I totally recommand it! Everything in it is for you to have a nice time! Barmen are great! Then talk to you, give you advices and make wonderful cocktails. Waiter/tress are nice too! The whole team is always smiling and that makes the difference. I've been in a lot of bars and I've never seen cocktails like this. New flavors, new mixes... plus thé aperotivo is really good!!! I certainly go back to this bar during my next trip in Milano!!! Big win for clever cocktail names and good seasonal flavors. Pretty much everything was long drinks wheni visited in summer, but they were delightful. Heavy use of amari, of course , but also a variety of herbal ingredients and house made potions. The snacks served as part of aperitivo were a little lacking. You get a few nice bites of hot dishes, plus a huge tray of crudites and chips. Could have done without that tray, barely touched it. Overall, really good, but see some of my other reviews for even better. read more

This is a popular spot so when we were here it was crowded, all the way out in the streets (which seems to be the Milan way anyways). They have a good thing going, you order your drinks at the cashier and then they will shout your name when it is done (or something similar to that). So- why three stars? I just think it has to do with the late hour and the oh too many people. For me it was very chaotic just standing in the middle of the passage and feeling "in the way" whilst being there. The bartenders really knew what they were doing and it was super effective having them just making cocktails and not taking orders from guests. The cocktails were well made and ours tasted really good. I think my impression would have been better if we had been here earlier on the day, it was around midnight and too crowded to get a good look at the place/have more than one drink. So, I cant really fault this place for being popular, now can I? But, as for me being here as a tourist it wasnt as good as it could have been. If I go to Milan again I will be sure to drop by earlier. Pros: yummy drinks, popular, efficient Cons: little crowded at late hours, not a big bar But, I recommend you to go here earlier (right after opening hours) and enjoy a cocktail or more. This place is great. It's located in Milan's fashionable Navigli district, meaning the crowd is young, hip, loud, and good looking and it's almost always full, with crowds spilling out onto the sidewalk during the weekends. Best part: the cocktails. Those bartenders are artists, seriously. Extremely creative combinations are always changing on the menu and almost anything can be ordered off-menu. The waiters never disappoint with their recommendations, and most of them speak English. They thought we needed help deciding because we were taking so long - but it was a which of five superb cocktails will I actually chose?! I'm normally a wine drinker so on the best of nights max out around four - plus this was aperitivo so I had to save myself for Italian wine at dinner. I started with a vegetal celery mezcal number that elevated my conception of how amazing a savory green drink could be - then completely switched directions to a pear mezcal number which was just sweet enough and let the mezcal perfectly smoke through each sip. The aperitivo plate was adorable - we especially loved of all things the carrots. They brought out a lovely cold pea soup served in individual portions. The room is beautiful - also the servers and bartenders are very easy on the eyes - plus talented and efficient. This is the busy cocktail bar institution I will always need to return to in Naviglio. read more

Fantastic, imaginative, and beautifully balanced cocktails. The pearversion balanced the smoky peatiness of the Laphroaig with with sweet and sour notes and lovely crunch of nibbling on the dried pear garnish. The toy boy was also a super interesting mix of flavors, with mysterious spicy tones from cinnamon and cardamom infused liqueurs. We also really enjoyed the non-menu cocktail our bartender put together, his riff on a Bloody Mary. The complementary aperitivo snacks were relatively standard, but the foie, strawberry, fresh cheese, rocket concoction that was a special of the day was quite good and more worthy of the innovative drinks. read more
