A little gem in this surprising city. Went here on a day trip from my husband's home town. It's close to the city's main draws--the Piazza Ducale (beautiful!), Castello Sforzesco, Torre del Bramante, etc.
Anyhoo, we started with Salumi Misti d'Oca--pretty good, not too salty and not too much. We ordered the risotto con asparagi e prosciutto and the tagliatelle con ragú d'oca. The tagliatelle was delicious, but the risotto was clearly the star of the show--it tasted of asparagus and butter but wasn't cloying, cooked just right. Even my toddler finished her plate!
Since we were satisfied with the primi, thought we'd try the dessert and ordered a tortino al cioccolato con sorbetto a la pera. The pear sorbet was delicious--not too sweet, and perfectly paired with the lava cake. We finished it off with espresso. Great meal for under €70. I'm glad I chose it read more
