This place used to be good, but now it's weird and AWKWARD. They do not have an in-person doctor…read moreanymore. They put me in an exam room with a laptop to meet with a Phoenix doctor over some telehealth platform. The acoustics in the room sucked, and there wasn't a microphone to connect to the laptop. The doctor had a hard time hearing me so I had to YELL at the laptop. The walls in the office are thin so I am sure everyone else in the building heard me (awkward!). I tried typing info into the chat but the doctor (very old man) did not know how to use the chat function. Worst of all was his reaction to telling me I had leukemia. He told me I was "lucky" to have leukemia and they're "ninety percent of the way to a cure on that." I told him my last treatment predicted a 60% survival rate after six months, which I didn't consider especially "lucky." Honestly I was pretty shocked and upset at him telling me I was "lucky" to have a deadly form of cancer. And to have everyone else hear it. Go somewhere else if you want respect and privacy.
