I was never disappointed in my coffee and I'm pickier than most! The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and the space was inviting and laid back. I regretted tipping. Lesson learned - never tip before completing a meal and having the full experience. We waited about 20 mins for coffee. When we followed up, she said "it's coming"; and went about standing there doing nothing. This is insane. Food wasn't great but at least the bread and veggies were fresh. Coffee sucked. Sadly, we threw it away. It felt like the leftover at the end of a brewing pot when we paid for and expected a luscious latte. Not going back. Not a nice vibe. Sad.

Let me start by saying I had a perfectly good breakfast being served at my hotel and I opted to skip that 3 of the 5 days I was recently there and go to Sunny's. The hollandaise sauce is next level. The right amount of tart acid to cut through the fat of the sauce. And its super light and airy. I tried all 4 of the eggs benny combos and they were great. The vegetarian option was the standout for me even though I am a pretty staunch meat eater. Also, if your gluten free get the Eggs benny Todd's way. Which is served on a bed of their perfectly golden brown and delicious hash browns. The staff are all friendly and work in perfect harmony with each other. Which really elevates the experience. I would recommend sitting at the counter if you can so you can see the great folks making you food and see the love they put into it. And a top tip. If you want a mimosa go after 9. BC wont allow liquor sales before then. #foundoutthehardway
