Lot's of choices and what I appreciated is that there was a lot of non chocolate choices. There are some regular food menu items mostly focusing on burgers and fries, pizza and hotdogs. Food took awhile to come out and I would say our server was generally disinterested. However the ambiance was great. So pretty in there! Nice place to sit and linger with coffee and chit chat. Food was really good. I didn't expect much of the fries but they were fresh and hot and vibrant with veggies. Rich with cheese sauce and sour cream. Really, really delicous. The place itself is quite small with minimal seating. I was able to snag the last table when I arrived. Similar to a coffee shop, you grab your own table and head to the till to make an order. They will deliver your order to your table. They have a wide selection of pastries and desserts as well as food items. They have a Ukrainian breakfast menu as well as an American breakfast menu. They also have a freezer with homemade frozen goods you can purchase. Prices are on par with most restaurants/coffee shops. Everything looked SO tasty, it was very hard to make a decision. I ended up getting a the mushroom egg toast that came with salad, potatoes, and I added a sausage on the side. The food was sooo good and extremely filling. The potatoes were AMAZING! I ate around 1 and didn't eat dinner that night since I was still full. I also ordered a lavender latte, and got a lemon blueberry cake to go. Their coffee was delicious and you could actually taste the lavender flavour. I've gone to some places where the flavouring was almost non-existent. The cake was also quite nice. Only thing I found was that the bottom was a bit overbaked. I am excited to come back and try some of their Ukrainian dishes.

There were a few trays of baked breads and also a warmed with chicken empanadas. After lunch we went back to pick up a few things. I got 2 empanadas ($1.99 each) and 2 cream puffs ($2.25 each). My friend had one of the cakes before and said it was sweet so I decided not to try any as I don't like overly sweet desserts. Later that day, I had the cream puff and it was filled with lots of fluffy cream. The chicken empanada filling reminded me of what I use when I make chicken pot pie without the liquid. For $2, there was a decent amount of chicken but it was sweet and I prefer more savoury. I heated it in the toaster oven so the outside shell would be crispy and it was flaky and warm inside. If I'm in the area, I would go back and see what else they had. It's great to support a local business and the service was friendly.

They're not quite at a full 80 flavours just yet, but she assured me that she was bringing more in very soon. I was quite content with the choices that were available and had a hard time narrowing it down. I can't imagine if there had been more! They hope to be able to expand this year and open a second location (either a fixed location or a roving one for special events). The owner is really sweet and has all the details of her flavours packed in her brain. She answers all the questions quickly and offers great suggestions!! For my first visit I went with the "cheeky monkey" frozen yogurt which is a mixture of strawberry and banana with chocolate chunks. Delicious! I would definitely get it again, but not until I make it through the rest of the menu. There's obviously a great variety... but it's not just ice cream. They also offer frozen yogurt, sorbet, and sherbet. Prices are great... $4 for a single, $6 for a double, and an extra dollar for a waffle cone.
