I took about 6-8 watches to the watch repair man on the third floor, Mr. Flores, who rents space from DRS. It was a lovely experience except for the very last visit, when he suddenly became quite hostile and rude when I was picking up my last watch that needed a new part, which took months to arrive and longer to finally fix. This watch had been in his possession on and off since last November. Mr. Flores had been lovely until I picked up the last watch, which he lied about ever seeing before, and was fixing it for me (and ordering a part that cost $?) as a FAVOR, even though I had the receipt and envelope for its original work order. When I asked him why he was being like this, he told me to go away and not come back. The reason I am posting this here is that one of the DRS employees behind me told me to "Let it go", which is outrageous. I called the owner of this company to complain, whose employee was out of line. When I suggested that I would not be ordering any medical jewelry, which they offer, because of his rude employee, he hung up on me. So you see, it comes from the top. Even if things seem to be going well and you have developed a relationship with someone, it can change suddenly. If you are lying about something that can be proven, what kind of character do you have?
I would leave no stars, but it's not possible. I had some of my watches fixed, but if one of them should stop suddenly, I will have to start over and pay someone else. Mr. Flores's prices are reasonable and he seems like an old-world craftsman, but the experience was ruined by this switcheroo. I am a reasonable person but I did pay for this last watch toi be fixed and expected it to be fixed. read more
