I have tried them twice now and would highly recommend! The Arroz Mamposteao with Carne Fritas and Tostones is my absolute favorite here--always flavorful and cooked perfectly. I also tried the Mofongo with Pernil, which was a bit ripe but still had great flavor. I especially loved the chunks of chicharrón hidden inside the mofongo and the tasty sauces that came with it. Overall, a delicious experience every time!

I eat it in the weekend food market and it was fresh and well done. Service was fast and clean. A bit overpriced for my understanding but food was good.

I recently ordered food from their food truck while they were at The Miami Book Fair, and I must say, I was blown away by the flavor of their food. I ordered the Mofongo Relleno which came with a huge amount of mofongo and roasted pork. The mofongo itself was soft and moist, while still maintaining that consistensy that makes it shapeable. The roast pork was seasoned with that traditional "campo" taste that takes you back to Puerto Rico. The staff working this truck were a pleasure to deal with. Super happy to have run into this fopd truck at The Miami Book Fair. I truly looking forward to visiting again.

This Puerto Rican booth is at the weekly Smorgasburg Miami food market in Wynwood. Authentic Boricua street food at this booth. The bowls are plentiful with fried plantains mixed with meat and cheese. Servers were nice and you can tell there's pure joy sharing the cuisine.

I had their pollo mofongo at Smorgasburg Miami .... It's like salty slop in a bowl for $22. They have no prices noted... You don't know the price until after you order. Don't waste your money on this one.

Everything we ordered was flavorful, and we've had consistently good experiences with the food. The only downside was the service. It was just average, and the staff could have been a bit friendlier and more attentive. Also, the Coke came in a very small glass bottle, almost sample-sized which was a little disappointing for the price. Overall, I'd still come back for the food because it's worth it.

I brought my sister because she loves mofongo, and it seemed like the perfect place for us to check out together. We came fairly early, around 6 PM, so it wasn't crowded at all. The only downside was that the restaurant had a fragrance that was incredibly strong and honestly a bit overpowering. It kind of took away from the experience for me. They don't have outdoor seating, but I genuinely would have preferred sitting outside in the Miami heat over being inside with that scent. Food wise, it definitely delivered. I ordered the churrasco mofongo and it was delicious. The steak was flavorful and paired perfectly with the mofongo. We also got the fried chicken for my nephew, and it was so good. Crispy, juicy, and a huge hit with him. Service was good throughout our visit, and our food came out quickly. Overall, I'm glad to see them thriving in a larger space. The food was great, the service was solid, and if they toned down the fragrance, the experience would have been even better.

If it wasn't for a lone Puerto Rican flag by the door, I almost keep driving and dismiss it as if it was a false Yelp page. Thank God I did not! This little place is tiny, with a counter that sits about four people max and a small table for two. They specialize in takeouts mostly but we were able to snatch that little table for two. From the start, the lady at the counter was super nice and we immediately felt welcomed. We ordered an alcapurria, which for me is something I order to gauge the level of what to expect from our meals. Is it overcooked? Is it undercooked? Is it fried on burnt cooking oil or fresh? How a restaurant serves you an appetizer is very telling of their level of attention to detail. Luckily for us, this appetizer was perfectly cooked and it had a very well seasoned ground beef that was very flavorful. I, of course, ordered a Mofongo with fried pork chunks, which is one of my favorite all time meals while my wife went with her go-to chicken breast with salad and tostones. Both of our meals were very satisfying with a nice authentic Puerto Rican flavor. My mofongo was soft and moist with the nice flavor of green plantains. You would find the flavorful pieces of pork grind mixed in too, just like they make them back at the island. The pork chunks were flavorful but a little too hard and challenging to cut through with the plastic cutlery that we were given. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it way more with a good fork and knife in hand, but nevertheless, I can see myself ordering the exact same dish next time I buy dinner here again. My wife was very happy with her meal too. Overall, we will order to go next time, or for delivery. I am curious to see how this mofongo will travel. One thing I noticed is that they don't serve the mofongo with chicken broth on the side which would probably be a great idea to include, especially on a delivery. Plantains dry up so a side of this could revive it back to its full flavor. I'm very happy to have found this place and I recommend it.

During live performances, one waitress would get up on stage and play instruments and at other times bartenders would join in. I was truly smiling from ear to ear all night. I drank delicious mojitos all night and even with a packed venue the drinks came out extremely fast! Although the restaurant was packed, our waitress remained extremely kind and attentive throughout the night. To me, the food was just good. We had the Jamón Serrano Croquetas to start. They were a little cold for my taste and not the best I've ever had but they weren't bad. My husband really loved his skirt steak ropa vieja and didn't leave a single grain of rice. I opted for the rabo encendido pasta. I like that they weren't skimpy on the rabo. The downside of this place is that to maximize space, you're packed in like sardines. The tables are basically on top of each other. A larger sized person would not fit getting in and out of their seat and my husband was constantly backing up into the people seated behind him. Overall, this is a place you definitely visit for the atmosphere above food. I will 100% be coming back for drinks, appetizers and more live music. It is an incredible spot especially for those looking for Cuban nostalgia.
