The worse Mexican Restaurant I have ever eaten at. Boring food, no flavor, lack spices, refried beans are very thin and flat. I had the Chicken Chimichanga which was served as flautas with a little chicken, no spices on the chicken and dry. My cousin had the chicken quesadilla, which was very small, more like a small tortilla for a child, not an adult and only had shredded lettuce on top. Other dishes were lacking in all aspects. We were a party of 4 and 1 child, and the waiter wouldn't give us separate checks that we asked for. Don't waste your money. So very disappointing. I used to live in Arizona and know great Mexican food, and this was a sin to say the least. I really don't get the 5 star ratings. I went to have supper by myself. Had a chimichanga meal chicken. Found it to be rather tasteful. Also ordered a diet soda which turned out to be a can. They brought a glass of ice with it. They however were very generous a dessert. In the beginning they brought out the chips and a quesadilla cheese. I thought it was very thoughtful. However if you're going to charge three dollars for a soda I found it tacky to also bring the can. I had friendly and fast service. read more

I'm someone who is typically very selective, with high standards for food and I can't emphasize enough how delicious the shredded steak burritos and beans were!! Had the absolute friendliest waitstaff who were unbelievably generous and accommodating. The place is also nicely decorated, clean, and plays good music. Wanted to try something different, and we weren't disappointed. The people who work here have really put effort into this restaurant and offer a nice atmosphere. No other reviews mentioned a bar, so we were happy to find that there is a small bar, which we prefer. A complimentary app, desert and after dinner drink, you don't get that anywhere any more! Met a friend for dinner last night and was pleasantly surprised.... Not only was the food delicious and fresh, but the customer service and staff was amazing! Stopped in before six flags. For $11 I got a chillies rellano with rice and salad and chips and salsa. The food was very tasty, the chilli was well cooked and smothered in tasty cheese, the rice tasted freshly cooked by someone who knew what they where doing. All that for $11, this will be my new tradition before six flags. read more

What a fun stop, visited after leaving six flags two moms and two toddlers. Kids opted for the traditional chicken tenders and fries (which we sampled and thought were very tasty) yummy salsa and chips were plentiful and margaritas were tasty! Stopped in for dinner and were greeted at the door. Personable and efficient staff sat us right away. Our server took our orders in a timely manner, not too quick, just right timing. They served our drinks, chips, fresh salsa and surprised us with a complimentary quesadilla! Another review mentioned too many staff waiting on them. There were 3 guys working and all approached or took care of us. They worked well together, we had a main server. They were ready at all times, so we did not really need to ever search for them. We were offered more chips and salsa and asked more than once if there was more they could do or get for us. I thought it worked out fine and did not bother me a bit. We ordered, I had enchilladas mole poblano, my husband the chicken flautas. Both served with lovely rice and nice refried beans. Wow, this food is excellent! Fresh, just the right spice and not salty at all. The complimentary dessert really hit the spot. Service was really top notch, very attentive and kind. It was decent, not outstanding. Some of the entrees seemed overpriced. Around $26 in a less than fancy place. Wasn't crazy about the chips being served in wicker baskets. Can they be sanitized easily? I would consider going back but would probably try some new places instead. read more

Just went to this restaurant for the first time. The place was very clean, services was impeccable and food was fantastic. Our server gave us a cheese quesadilla for FREE along with a free desert and shot of pineapple infused tequila with the check! We ate at D Patron last night with friends, and we had a great meal. This was our first visit. It was a weekday, and the restaurant was not crowded. There was easy abundant parking. The menu is extensive with varying prices. The margaritas are generous. A cold frosted glass was provided for beer. Corn chips and salsa were provided. I had chicken and beef tacos, and my wife had chicken fajitas that were served steaming hot at the table. Meals included rice and refried beans. All appeared appetizing and were delicious. The portions are generous; we could not eat everything and brought enough home for another meal. They surprised us with an ice cream - pastry dessert and shots of tequila! The service was exceptional. I am sure that we will return. read more

First timer...and, was a bit disappointed....that I haven't gone there before. What a pleasant surprise for me and my date. Started with chips and salsa...and drinks. Margaritas! Waiters were very good. Attentive but not pushy. Gave order for both of us. I got chimachana (chicken) and date had the shrimp fajitas...both outstanding! Best part yet to come. Waiter brought shot glasses with pineapple infused tequila and a wrap, whipped cream and strawberry ice cream....on the house. Bottom line on D Patron is that its too good to pass up. This was a bright spot in an otherwise horrible. I had spent the day dealing with a car key lost on a ride at Six Flags. I arrived hungry and frustrated. The food was good but the staff was stellar. They easily adapted when a call from AAA changed our plans. They allowed me to sit and enjoy the air conditioning. One of the severs let me borrow a cell phone charger. I had dinner there last night with a friend and we were both very happy with our meals. The food was great, as was the service. My only complaint is that I need either a high top table or to sit at the bar. We were told they had no high tops but were made very welcome at the bar. The complaint is the stools were pretty rickety, they felt like an improperly assembled IKEA product. I am not a particularly large man (6'1" and 175lbs) and still didn't feel completely comfortable sitting in mine. read more
