Came here on a Monday afternoon it was not busy witch my husband and I loved . Service was 10/10 friendly attentive and not overbearing. Spacious and clean inside, they even have tables outside once it gets warmer. Both of our dishes beef enchiladas ( mine ) was delicious. They have their own parking so plenty of parking as well. I will be returning . read more

We almost didn't try this place because of location--meaning the last two restaurants in this building were not good. But, it's Mexican now, and we had to try it out. Glad we did. First the chips and salsa were exceptional--fresh and crispy with no greasiness. Then we were served a complimentary small quesadilla which was a nice touch. Our two entrees, a chicken mole served with rice and beans and fresh avocado. My husbands only remark: more mole sauce please. I had a combination chile relleno, enchilada and chimichanga and asked for double beans and no rice. I was pleasantly surprised that my meal came with a generous portion of freshly made guacamole. Very unusual. Both meals were both well-prepared and tasty. This is not chain food, which means experience may vary--hence some odd review discrepancies. But our meal was not only very authentic, our server was above par and very attentive and very willing to accomodate my menu change of double beans with no rice. Another pleasant surprise was a complimentary dessert taco with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. Yum! Best of all, the prices are very reasonable and portions are a good value. We shall return. read more

'Bang for your buck' here at D Patron is the name of the game! Stopped in here for dinner as a break from Six Flags (didn't want to eat in the park and they are one minute away). Honestly, so blown away by the service we received. It felt like in a world where most restaurants are stingy and nickel and dime you, they went above and beyond. We got free chips; free mini quesadillas, a free banana dessert and a free tequila shot. The food was good, some of the best refried beans I've had and the red sauce that came with the steak enchiladas was super good. Again, I am so impressed with the service and we would definitely stop in again if we are in the area! read more

It was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very attentive and pleasant, and the atmosphere was very nice. However, it was a little expensive for what you get on the menu. I ordered a Virgin Marguerite, and they charged me the same price as one with alcohol. read more

We love this place. The margaritas are excellent and the staff is attentive and committed to serving you with care. They start right off with chips and salsa. We have regular orders that are excellent. This is a great spot in a bit of a restaurant desert ... support them! We go about once a week. read more

This place was subpar at best. I'm honestly surprised by all the amazing reviews I'm reading after the fact ... and I'm generally a very positive review giver if you look at my other ones. Both our stomachs hurt that night and the whole next day. We got there around 5pm on Thursday. Not a soul was there. We ended up there because where we always go was closed for family vacation. The place had an odor of straight cleaning products and old cleaning water. More people did end up showing up before we left. It's very small - limited seating. Can imagine it gets very busy. Ample parking. The salsa was delicious - had a good kick to it. But we were given supremely stale chips. Should I have said something - yes. My husband ordered the burritos but what came out looked like flautas or enchiladas maybe? He said they tasted good. I ordered a combo meal taco, tostado, enchilada all very tasty. The food came out so fast though like less than 5-10 minutes which makes me question how it's cooked .... And then the rice is the worst! It definitely looks and tastes like pre packaged microwave bag rice. It has this very dried up dark orange color with small shriveled peas in it. The beans did not taste good either. I ate my meal but barely touched the rice/beans which was sort of a waste for $16. We also both ordered strawberry margaritas. Did not ask for frozen but that's how it came (even though we chose salt or sugar on the rim - seemed very weird)... $10 was a lot for a margarita I tasted no tequila in. They do give you a complimentary dessert at the end it's like a small scoop of ice cream and whip cream with some fried shell of some sort drizzled with chocolate - the fried part was very weird tasting. There were only 2 gentleman working there and although they were nice enough, nothing to write home about. We paid $64 before tip for our meals listed above and one child's cheese quesadilla. We will not plan to return. read more

Stopped here after a long day at 6 flags and it was a great choice! The waiter allowed us to sit outside upon request which started our time off great. The food was good, the drinks were poured well, and the service was awesome! I would definetly come back if I'm ever in the area! read more

This is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. I relocated to CT from CA, and had a hard time finding decent Mexican. This place is AWESOME. Friendly people, warm ambiance, amazing food. I am working my way through the menu, trying different things. Nothing disappoints. Please make the trip here - you won't be disappointed. And I am a nacho fanatic - these are the best I have ever had! read more

This place was an absolute delight. We got there within 35 minutes of closing and weren't sure if they would even seat us. Not only did they not rush us they gave us VIP treatment! My shrimp and white sauce was so good and they even accommodated my Leto diet by taking off the rice and replacing with a side salad. Do you love giving kisses they treated the family to super yummy desserts And awesome appetizers. What a value! I can't wait to go back. read more

This restaurant is right down the street from my family house and this was the first time I tried it. I loved that you got free chips and salsa as well as a small, warm. Quesadilla filled with cheese! It was soooooo good! The salsa was just the right amount of hot with6being too hot. I also ordered a half pitcher of sangria which was awesome with brandy mixed in. Our dinner was quickly served, was nice and hot, and was really tasty. I love that the refried beans were thin like an apple sauce and were not runny or too salty. They also melted cheese on top. I had the chicken enchilada verses and the chicken was moist, tender, and you can see it was real chicken! All 3 of us eating were very pleased with the quantity and quality of food. I ordered fried ice cream and the 2 other desserts were on the house. Great experience that I am sure I will repeat! read more

Good, authentic Mexican food and an awesome margarita! Nice lil spot, very close to Six Flags. Good service and free dessert!

Fantastic food in a super cute setting. We are here for the first time last week and they are now our go to for Mexican food!

small and comfortable atmosphere. Traditional Mexican music playing. Feels like I'm in mexico. Food is great. I got the taquitos appetizer and my husband got the chicken fajitas. Banana chimichangas come complimentary which were delicious. Margaritas are STRONG. will definitely return. Any place that has flan is number 1 in books, too. read more

Can't say enough about this place and would highly encourage anyone looking for great service and great food to come here. Was in town for an event with my family and their friends with Mexican food being the target. Decided to come here due to location and claim of being able to accommodate larger parties. We arrived, with no forewarning and they had no problem quickly setting up a table for 8 and settling us in. No sooner had the menus been distributed when the waters and chips and salsa showed up. The menu selection had something for everyone and everyone enjoyed their meals. Food was prepared well and very tasty. The service was prompt and attentive. They were always there, but not in the "bad timing" way. They genuinely seemed to care and wanted to make sure we never waited long for anything. This is a place we all plan on coming back to. Great find! read more

Good food but pretty high prices and kind of... odd service? Staff were very nice and attentive but we had something like 4 staff coming to our table on rotating to take thi gs, check on us etc. It just felt overkill. There was also a lot of weirdness like, when they brought out our chips and guac they took away our all plates from the complementary chips/salsa? Lol so it just seems like they are still getting into the flow of the place. But the food was great and they also brought put a small complementary dessert! The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is the high prices and sort of odd service. read more

Service and extras unmatched. Great service. Beef fajitas came in a delicious red sauce. Chips and salsa hit the table immediately after we sat down. Shortly after a little cheese quesadilla was also served. There's something about that little attention to detail that goes a long way. My fiance raved about the beans. We left six flags to grab a proper meal and drinks and we were not disappointed. Full and satisfied now back to rollar coasters read more

My fiancé and I stopped here on our way to Six Flags to fuel up. Food was excellent, authentic Mexican food. The service was even better! We were served by a wonderful man who gave us complimentary desserts and a pineapple tequila shot. Their food is so good and the drinks are amazing! The service is great and it is so nicely decorated. I can't wait to go back!

Food was ok, but the service was bad, we had to go to the bar to order our drinks and get the menu, we had to ask for water twice and it wasn't offered to us, had to go back to the bar to get the check and a box for the food, and come back to the bar to pay, Ambiance was ok. read more

INSANE!!!!! So so so so good - amazing service too. Don't hesitate to go here - they really know what they're doing

This is a wonderful Mexican restaurant right near the entrance to Six Flags. I just had a late lunch/early dinner there and I think I've been here 3 or 4 times now. The service is excellent. All of the staff are friendly, prompt and professional. The food is excellent. We had the mole chicken enchiladas and the chicken enchiladas verdes with guacamole for an appetizer. Our waiter also brought each of us a sample quesadilla appetizer for free and a chimichanga desert sample for free too. For context I am half Mexican and have been to Mexico dozens of times and I give D Patron two thumbs up! read more

This place was amazing! They started us with a small quesadilla which was delicious. I ordered the chimichangas with beef and they were spectacular. Pure garbage would taste better-the tacos were so greasy that the hard shells came apart from the grease and trapped in the so-called taco meat. If you hate somebody, bring them here to eat. read more

Tried out the Mexican restaurant as we were at a party near by ealier in the day. First impression was uh oh as there were absolutely no other cars in the parking lot and it was a Saturday. The open sign was on so we went ahead and said lets try it they had alot of good reviews. Once we got seated everything was great, well everything except the food. The waiters were wonderful. There were about 3 people taking care of us and they were all really nice and professional. For starters we got the normal batch of free chips and salsa the most Mexican restaurants give you but then 5 minutes later they arrived wit a free cheese quesadilla as well. The drinks were good although the margarita's could have used more alcohol. The main courses were portioned well but just your generic flavors and nothing to brag about. By far the worst item they have and should fix immediately are the refried beans, or should I say refried soup. There was not one sign of an actual bean as it was the most watered down refried beans I have ever had. I'm sure they water them down to save money but that ruined all of are plates except the one smart person in my party that asked for the black beans. The rice was deep colored so I was expecting flavor but nope just plain rice that was colored. The big surprise was at the end we recieved yet another free item this time a desert, ice cream and banana rolled up and then one more free item a round of shots. This place is not horrible, the food definitely needs to improve but the good service and free items probably has everyone leaving good reviews when they should just be average. Love the service but cannot recommend unless you live in that neighborhood and dont feel like driving anywhere else. read more

Very nice people, but very bland food. This place seems to be highly rated for reasons I cannot understand. The only thing with any flavor was their free salsa. I would normally rate a place like this 2 stars back home but as a visitor to the area who only ordered boring things on the menu (tacos, enchiladas, relleno, tostada, quesadillas, flautas), maybe I got what I deserved. read more

Unfortunately, the 4.5 rating was not presented Friday night. We had a couple drinks and beef nachos. The margarita was awful poorly mix. Out of stock and basic beers. More importantly the appetizers: beef nachos was extremely disappointing. The nachos came in a pool of beef broth. For $14 for nachos it was very disappointing. More importantly than manager didn't even care FYI read more

I went to have supper by myself. Had a chimichanga meal chicken. Found it to be rather tasteful. Also ordered a diet soda which turned out to be a can. They brought a glass of ice with it. They however were very generous a dessert. In the beginning they brought out the chips and a quesadilla cheese. I thought it was very thoughtful. However if you're going to charge three dollars for a soda I found it tacky to also bring the can. I had friendly and fast service. read more
