Paid $28 for a refill and shellac. She put way more effort to make sure my nails were even and properly done, as compared to other salons I have been to where they rush with a half-ass job. Probably could be because there were no other customers waiting at the time I went. I am very content with her service and will be back in the near future.

Seriously one of the most thoughtful nail salons ive ever been to and that's not just in toronto. The salon is gorgeous and pink the aesthetic is unmatched. The talent that is behind these doors is one of a kind doing some of the most intricate nail art ive ever seen. I personally have gone 3xs now just to get a basic gel manicure and it has lasted me up to 5 weeks when normally it lasts about 1.5 weeks for me. The products they use are all clean and help improve your nails rather than harm them. Every time I walk out, my nails change my personality in the best way no one can tell me otherwise. Affordable and fairly priced *BRING CASH* and the staff is so friendly and informative.

He immediately stated etransfer! He wants a tip. I heard 50 so I added 6 to it making it 56. He called his manager to make sure he got it. Waiting. Passes the phone to me....nothing. He calls a lady to come out of a room doing massage, she rudely stated i spelt the email address wrong, like I was trying to pull a fast one. I did the whole etransfer again while she sttood next to me. I heard the manager ob the phone say something then she rudely turns and walks away. I said loudly, good thing im not in a hurry and accepting credit would mean better service for your clients. As i am putting on my jacket, the manager calls again. Apparently it was 56.50 total with taxes! He called back for 50 cents! I gave them 2 dollars and walked out with i will never!

I had left a review 5 years ago on Yelp because I was really impressed with this business. Allure Nail bar always has been and still is a very clean and hygienic place that are safety conscious. Highly recommend this salon. I have been in the health profession for many years and am very particular about sterilization techniques..I am confident to go here. I have to add an update. I broke a nail and contacted Allure. They got back to me very quickly and fit me in. Ashley did a fabulous job repairing my nail! She was very gentle and careful and precise in her work. She is a very personable technician and it was joy to have her help me.. I would gladly have these wonderful people work on my hands again.

They did an amazing job, but after pushing back my cuticles and filing them, my cuticles were still there so I asked them to cut them off. This extra step counted as a manicure so it was an extra $12 charge? Which, okay fine.. but it just added to the cost of everything. For a gel refill (+2 nail fixes since they popped off from my first appt), plus design, plus covid PPE costs, & tip, it came up to almost $150! I don't understand how people can keep getting their nails done with these prices. I was okay paying for it since I needed PERFECT nails for my wedding - and I am BEYOND happy with the outcome, but the price is keeping me from going back unless for a special occasion. (The first time I went for a full set of gel nails & 1 colour with sparkle on top came up to $90 with tip).. so almost double the price if I went to a basic nail salon. You do get what you pay for, but again, not sure how people can keep up with these prices. I would still definitely recommend going to Allure Nail Bar. When I changed my mind about the colour (before she put it on) she actually rolled her eyes, when she was finished she basically shooed me away to the drying area as fast as she could, however I didn't expect a spa experience paying $20 for a mani. So go in expecting a great (and efficient) manicure, and not much in the service department. The place is nice, a little dark but way nicer than I was expecting. There are a lot of pedi chairs too which I will try next time. They also use new files and buffers for each client and send them home with you, so very sanitary. Also make sure you have cash for tip as they do not allow you to tip using debit or credit. This seems to be fairly common in Ontario? I just moved here from Vancouver so it's a totally new (and strange) concept for me. I would definitely recommend this place and will be going back for sure. Bonus: Starbucks next door.
