I initially reached out last April seeking representation for issues I had with a previous employer. They gathered my information, had me submit paperwork, and scheduled an appointment where I explained my situation. I was told they would follow up. They did--but not until a year later. This level of delay is unacceptable, especially when time-sensitive legal matters are involved. They could have informed me much sooner instead of allowing an entire year to pass. In their eventual email, they even mentioned the statute of limitations, which is concerning given the time that had already been lost. I strongly recommend seeking representation elsewhere. After many months of waiting and follow-ups, I finally received an email stating that the firm would not be moving forward with my case. No clear updates were provided during the review period, and the decision came very late, despite the fact that employment cases are governed by strict statutes of limitation. While I understand that firms can choose which cases to accept, the lack of timely communication and extended delay made this experience very frustrating and stressful. I would have appreciated a prompt decision so I could seek other legal representation sooner. I'm very disappointed! On the other hand, once the intake finishes, there is little to no communication from them. They asked me to send the following documents to determine whether they could assist me: * Pay stubs (3-6 months) * Employee handbook * New hire packet * Time clock records/timesheets * Work schedules * Lunch & rest policies * Emails * Text messages * Doctor's notes Gathering all of this wasn't easy -- it took me over two hours to track everything down and send it over. After all that, they came back just to tell me they couldn't assist me. What made it worse is they didn't even have the decency to have an attorney call me back to explain why they weren't taking my case. Just a generic, dismissive response. I truly believe I have a strong case, but like many firms, if they don't see a big payday, they don't want to get involved. So far, so good. I received several email and texts regarding a phone screen and a case manager consultation. Both happened at the appointed time. Case manager seemed like he had but only an hour to talk about my case and I was not able to get him the entire story of everything that happened in the time frame provided, but they are working for free for now, so, we'll see how it goes. They were responsive in the beginning but I told them I would move on to another law firm if they did not keep their word. So far I haven't had a good experience. I connected with this law firm back in January and they were very responsive initially. I was under the impression that they would be taking on my case. I followed up with them yesterday and was told that it's still under "review" and it's been 6 months so I'm not happy and I wish I would've known this sooner so that I could've found another firm that's serious about taking my case. They're now telling me to give them another two weeks which I'm open to but I don't trust them unless something drastically changes within the next day or so, so I would not recommend them if you need help. read more

I had to basically chase them down to get any sort of answer, and when they did reply it was only to state there was no update and my file was under review. I wasn't even sure if I had a case and so I consulted and they've been nothing but understanding, very communicating and patient with my knowledge.
