I wanted to take a moment to share a preliminary review of my experience so far with Avishai, Glennys, and the team at RD Law Group. My situation began back in 2024, and at the time I was represented by a different law firm. My attorney assigned to the case, Leena, she was so efficient and always available to answer any questions and work diligently toward a outstanding settlement Lena kept in contact with me the entire time, and if she did not understand something, she would always either have her assistant call me or she would call me to make sure she had all the correct information. They are very professional on the phone and very courteous and always take the time to make sure they have the correct information before they transfer you to the appropriate person, never on hold for any time they always come back to make sure that you are aware they are working to find someone for you to talk to. I am writing this review to honestly describe my experience. I'm going to be fair by considering both the good and the bad. Overall, my experience with RD Law Group, or more so Leena, is mediocre at best. She speaks in such a condescending manner and likes to repeat herself over and over again. She spoke to me as if I was uneducated and didn't know anything. It was infuriating to be honest! As my attorney, she also didn't instill confidence that she was wanting to go the long way for my case. She was constantly fear mongering, telling me how the longer I pursue my case and it's not settled, the longer I will be unemployed due to my former employer being able to say anything. As a result, I sent a very kind email asking for a renewed sense of determination so we can fight aggressively. In writing, she received it well. Then she called me and the first thing she asked me was, "what are you trying to say!?"I couldn't believe her reaction and how antagonistic she was. She literally said, "...but you are sitting over there freaking out!" I wasn't freaking out but I didn't feel great, which is why I sent the email. As a client, Im within my right to express concerns and asking to fight! The overall vibe she was constantly giving was how dare you speak to me that way, do you know who I am, etc... She didn't say that per se but it was very much implied. I can even copy and paste the email on here to prove how nice my email was. I was just communicating with her. Her ego made me uncomfortable to say the least! Here is another prime example of how frustrating I felt and she didn't make me feel confident she was willing to go the long haul for me. She told me she is willing to go either way with what I decide, as in settle or file. She then asked me what number I'd be comfortable with to settle. I told her the number. Then she tells me that that is not realistic. Mind you, my number was way under 6 figures so it wasn't a crazy "get rich quick" number. She then tells me thats unrealistic and I need to lower my number. She literally just told me two minutes prior that she was happy to go either direction. Then she proceeds to tells me I need to lower my number? I was at a point where I wanted to either be done with the case to stop interacting with her or seek other counsel. In fact, I even had several consultation appointments with other attorneys. Around that time, she changed her demeanor and acted more kindly (maybe she sensed something). We ended up settling pre-litigation. It was a small amount, however at that point, I wanted to be done with it partially because I just didn't like my experience with her and didn't feel confident it would end well with her as my counsel. I personally believe I could've received more if we filed but like I said, I was done. If I had a better experience with her and trusted that she would've went to bat for me to the full extent, I most likely would've proceeded. And starting with another lawyer at that point just seemed so daunting to me. I wish I had gone with another lawyer to be honest. In any case, I will acknowledge we settled and got more than what my former employer started with, which was ridiculously low. And she did change her tune towards the end. That is why I won't say the experience was all bad. That's why I give her a 3 star at best (2.5 is more accurate but I can't give half stars) to balance the bad with the good. This is my personal account of the experience. Perhaps others are different, but mine wasn't great...I would not recommend this firm/counsel to anyone I know based on my experience. read more

Having issues within the employment law realm can be incredibly overwhelming, especially when 1) said issues require dedicate handling and legal knowledge to maneuver and 2) a person's employment future & livelihood are at stake with the outcome. I honestly could not have handled my own situation without the firm's help - in particular, support from Alex and Jenna. They are both incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, and highly communicative. From start to resolution, I was given updates in a very timely manner, advised on pros/cons of various scenarios (including realistic discussions on when certain paths were just not viable), and treated with respect & care. Things can get emotional, and the team is there for you every step of the way. They have a very fair pricing model, too, so you don't have to worry about fees until/unless you are able to secure compensation; even then, the percentage point is reasonable and agreed to ahead of time.
