These guys are not a thing. They want you to do all of the work for them. They want you to send them all of your sensitive information without having the courtesy of meeting you face to face first. The first guy who called me was talking so fast it felt like I was at a fast food drive-thru. Then another gentleman called me and he said after my severe allegations against my former employer, "Bosses can suck sometimes and the law is not really in your favor." Total complicity to the system. His professional legal advice I HEARD was "Sucks to be you you're just going to have to put up with it." Yeah, that's a real good message. Pretty obvious how things run in their office. If they even have an office AND NOT A PHONY WEB PAGE. For all I know they could be sitting in their pajamas and then show up to court in a wrinkled suit and not say much of anything just to throw the whole fight. They don't do investigating, they don't ask people questions, they don't put in the work to get to the heart of the problem. And they advertise on YouTube. That should have been my first red flag... Along with Facebook Instagram and all the rest. If you hand over all of your information to them you're the sucker. It's an online it's an industry clearing house bordering on a being a scam. The free consultation is not consultation at all. It is a free intake. you won't even know the rate before spending that one hour on intake. they ask PII information not relevant to evaluating the case. I refused to provide them and it turned out they could proceed and they were only optional. He handled everything with a high level of professionalism.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I spent over a week compiling all the details and documents requested and sent it to them on a tuesday and by next morning got a call from Adrian that the firm is not taking my case due to me still working for my employer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even with years of harrassment, retaliation and abuse documented they said they cant take the case. The thing is I told them that I was still employed with them from the beginning and they are trying everything to get me fired and still they didn't think it was a strong case. With california civil rights actively investigating with supeonas and records requests blackstone thought no we dont want it. They could've just told me that they don't take cases if you weren't fired. Adrian you are the best and I thank you for your effort in helping me but blackstone in my opinion didn't step up to help at all taking just less than a day to review over 3 years of documented harrassment, retaliation and discrimination records. There's no telling if the case is strong enough yes, but what I will say is this- they haven't made a dime off me and they continue to check in, and see how things are going. Ok it's early, but I have to give credit where it's due. I sent in a request for a case consultation, received a response to set an appointment and exactly on the scheduled date I received a call. This was overnight. Steven Perez is my Intake Specialist who is professional, thorough and courteous. I have completed the same steps with other attorney offices and have yet to receive an initial response. California is a litigious state and I'm sure attorneys are swamped, however customer service and communication is important. If you can't help, say so. I want to state that my review does not represent the personal attitude of the staff but the mis-communication and lack of communication with this firm. I was in a car accident on Mother's Day 2018 and my case is just NOW being settled. 17 months later. In between this time, my case was handed over to several different people in the firm, on one occasion I called and that person wasn't with the firm anymore. That happened twice except second time they notified me. There were several times I wouldn't hear ANYTHING on my case for months. I was never kept up to date unless I inquired about it 80% of the time.
