Ever since then, I…read morehave been in wonderful hands :) This hair salon specializes in Dominican styles, hair extensions, keratin and natural hair. Their prices are very inexpensive .. for a wash and blow dry will cost about $30 for long hair. This is not a fancy looking salon. The street parking can be hectic depending on the day and hour. If you want to see Marileny, expect a very long wait time especially on busy days. However, it's all worth it in the end. Most of their customers are repeat loyal customers. They have 3 hairstylist (which includes the owner) and just recently opened up a chair for a barber for the men. They used to have 1 assistant who helps wash hair but they added another I believe. Tips: Bring cash, some of the hairstylist only accept cash.

First off it was for a cut, blow dry and conditioning treatment with take home products. I have long thick hair and sorry but I have a rule never let a bald hair dresser cut my hair so I skipped the cut, the wash was AMAZING and the place itself is cozy to say the least. Overall I wasn't really wowed and didn't receive the star treatment other have described of this place. And I didnt even receive my "take home" products as was advertised. SMH

She said it would be $45. I get there and she begins to take my hair out. HALFWAY through the takedown, the owner comes and asks me what size they are and says "Those are small, right? The price is $60." I don't argue. I say okay. Because now that you want to change the price out of nowhere I will not be tipping as I always do. I face the mirror for the last couple braids and I notice one of the braids is much shorter than the others so I watch her take it out. You can see that my hair was cut MUCH shorter than the braid next to it. And it was blunt cut. I'm talking about 6 inches. I know she cut it when she cut the boho pieces out. I tell her she cut my hair and she DID NOT TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY. She could have at least apologized! She tried to say my hair was short there already. It was not. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!

I'm black y'all. she was really ripping my hair out. I could feel it coming out and now I have a spot on my neck and said where she completely ripped my hair out.
