I was recently involved in a car accident and went through Franklin Auto Body to conduct my…read morerepairs. So happy that I did! The staff is just amazing, the end result was excellent. After my first visit, I knew that I was in good hands and could trust them. A special shout out to Trish, Steve, and Shelton, and of course the work staff. Shelton, who was extremely polite, supportive and professional, he went out of his way to make me feel like a valued customer vs a "regular client. I needed advice and help with an auto part. I couldn't have done this without him in the end! I would like to give these guys 10 Stars. ********** Thank you - Lori M.

Absolutely Terrible Experience - Avoid This Shop…read more I took my 2023 Denali in for a simple repair after it was bumped in a parking lot on the bedside. I was told the repair would take about a week. Two weeks later, I went to pick it up and was shocked at the poor quality of work. The paint was awful -- the rocker panel wasn't even painted, there were runs in the clear coat, and the gravel guard looked completely different from the factory side. They agreed to fix it, but after another week, I picked up my truck and it somehow looked even worse. I was then told, "That's the best we can do, and if you want it to look good, you'll need to take it to another shop." This is the worst customer service and workmanship I've ever experienced. I would never trust them with a vehicle again.

For those of you who always seem to be in a rush: This is the only place you would want to take you…read morecar for any repairs and fixes needed period. If you want the best of the best, this is it! For those not sure who to trust, I hope this helps: We've all dreaded the possibility of someday coming back to our beloved modes of transportation, to come back to our cars, only to find them in less than perfect condition. Or even worse, end up in some sort of accident be that our own fault or someone else's; we loose, because now our prized possession is no longer perfect. It's no longer pristine. It will never be the same. Of course traveling on any road today, no matter where in the world you are, you're inevitably going to end up in some sort of a situation. Which is why we all carry insurance, hey, it's even required by law. And with it being inevitable, either right after you drive it off the dealership lot or 10 plus years later; having a professional company, that isn't just there to feast off of your misery, take even more money away from you, or make you consider even harder just staying at home, order in, set up a home office and forget about the dangers that lurks outside: Caliber Collision on Five Mile with Ryan Stillman at the helm is heaven sent. From the moment the incident occurs, until you're back on the road; that feeling of coming home after a bad day, being able to finally take care of yourself and knowing it will now be okay, that very feeling is what you get when you first meet the people at Caliber Collision on Five Mile. This is a very busy location, that not only are the only ones who can deal with Tesla vehicles in the Treasure Valley but still deal with other cars also; that there is even time left in the day to meet and greet new customers as if You are the only one that matters, that Your needs for Your vehicle is the outmost important matter in the World: it is quite humbling to have experienced professionalism at such a level, knowing again how incredibly busy they are with their at all time overflown ocean of vehicles they have to work on. Having a Super Hero, much like your very own Captain America, that will make sure everything is done by the book, that you're treated like Royalty and always kept up to date, always have time for a question or input, always around to ensure the process for Your vehicle is followed to a T, and nothing less than perfection is accomplished: Austin Blake, who I had the pleasure of having as my Service Advisor through out my horrendous incident that put a stop to my life, him and the rest of the team that to my knowledge worked on my vehicle: John & Jorge, made what started as some of the worst things that had happened to me, to end with some of the best that had happened to me personally. Everything from the best Manager I have ever personally experienced in any business; Ryan Stillman, who stayed after hours to allow for above and beyond customer service for me. The ability of just dropping of my rental and resuming life from their shop when it was all done. The squeaky clean car I got back, in a BETTER-THAN-FROM-FACTORY-NEW state, to the follow-up afterwards in case there was anything I was not satisfied with: The whole experience was as surprisingly pleasant and smooth, despite my enormous load of inquiries, worries and frustrations. I wish every single company out there, could take a page from this locations book, no better yet, take the whole darn book! Because topping the level of service, professionalism, skill and workmanship is just not possible. I trust this location; Caliber Collison on Five Mile, more than I trust my Tesla Service Center (not that I have anything bad to say about them) the level of professionalism is just leagues above and beyond the manufacturer of my car. So with everything I have, I say thank you! Thank you Austin. Thank you Ryan. Thank you John & Jorge. And thank you, to everyone else at Caliber Collision Five Mile for making this such an awesome experience through and through. Your friend, patriot and ambassador Mathias

Rarely do I take the time to review a company, but after my experience with this company I felt…read morecompelled to share with others, that they might not make the same mistakes I made. I had the unfortunate experience of being involved in a motor vehicle accident that was "not my fault". I initially felt fortunate that it wasn't my fault and the other party would be responsible for the repairs. My vehicle was brand new, only having been driven for 2 months with limited miles. I called the dealer that sold me the vehicle and they recommended Cope Collision for the repairs. After having the vehicle towed to Cope they did an initial inspection, without opening the hood, and sent me the estimate for this. This is all very appropriate. They also sent me a Docusign to sign which gave them permission to continue with the repairs. Here is where I made my mistake. I did not read the Docusign thoroughly and signed it. Not only did this document give them permission to order parts needed, it also stated that I would be responsible for all repairs that the at fault drivers insurance didn't cover. I know what you are thinking, "you can't fix stupid". I agree and I deeply regret having signed this. I was then told by the insurance company, who had contacted me to inform me they were going to total the vehicle (at a fair price). After having signed this document they revoked the offer and said because I signed this document Cope had ordered several thousand dollars worth of parts which they said could not be returned. I feel Cope should have explained to me that by signing this document it would set in motion a process that could not be reversed. Also, all along this process I told Cope that I would not pay any out of pocket expenses, even if the insurance company didn't cover 100% of the damage repair. The spokesperson at Cope repeatedly told me he understood and I would not have to pay anything when the vehicle was repaired. Not true. I ended up paying what the insurance didn't. Again, if Cope had been more transparent they could have explained that I might be responsible for any extra charges . In Cope's defense they wanted me to sign an additional document when I picked up the vehicle, that would allow them to pursue funds owed. No explanation was given what this document was. It turns out that this document gave them permission to initiate a law suit against the insurance company to attempt to retrieve whatever expenses they didn't collect. This time I actually read the paper work, which would have once again left me on the hook for any money not collected. I could only imagine what interest they would have tacked on to the amount not collected and most likely lawyers and collection fees as well. When I went to pick up the vehicle they held my car hostage until the bill was paid. The actual amount owed was a couple of thousand dollars less because the insurance company mailed the last supplement check, which Cope had not yet posted. Before they had me sign any paper work they should have checked for this payment, which their secretary had acknowledged they had received. All in all, the insurance paid about 98% of the total bill. If this bill was paid with a credit card Cope would have received even less than this. This entire process took 3 1/2 months. Bottom line: I would not recommend using this company, unless you walk into their establishment wearing a sign that says, "I am stupid".
