Returning to Emilio's over 30 years later and introducing our daughter to Liz and Emil was a special experience, and they welcomed her with the same warmth, respect, and courtesy that we remembered. Like many modern brides, our daughter arrived with inspiration from Instagram and Etsy for her table settings, bridal party bouquets, and ceremony arch. Liz and Emil took the time to listen to her ideas, offer their expertise, and bring her vision to life in a way that was even more beautiful than she imagined. Because the wedding ceremony was outdoors during the summer, they thoughtfully suggested a combination of silk and natural blooms for the outdoor setting and all fresh flowers for the indoor reception. Their recommendation was perfect for the environment while still creating the elegant look our daughter wanted. One of the most impressive pieces was the beautiful floral arrangement that draped across the top of the ceremony arch. It was designed with incredible attention to detail so that it could be easily removed after the ceremony and moved indoors, where it became a stunning focal point in front of the sweetheart table. This was a perfect example of their creativity and their commitment to creating arrangements that were both beautiful and practical. The compliments continued even after the wedding. When we returned to the venue the following day to pick up some of the items used at the reception, the wedding planner asked if we planned to take all 18 of the table centerpieces with us. She commented on how much she loved the elegant mix of blue and white tones. We happily gave her permission to keep whatever she wanted. Later, we learned that the venue had used the centerpieces to accent several tables and counters throughout their large main lobby and entrance area. We were incredibly proud to see the beauty and craftsmanship of Emilio's work appreciated in such a way. For a well-established private club to incorporate these pieces into their own décor is a true testament to the quality and artistry that goes into every arrangement. The flowers were absolutely beautiful, but the service we received was what truly made the experience unforgettable. Liz and Emil provided a level of personal attention, professionalism, and care that is rare to find. They made our daughter feel comfortable, respected, and confident throughout the entire process. Thank you, Liz and Emil, for helping make our daughter's wedding day so special and for being part of two of the most important celebrations in our family's life. It was hideous, and looked like tall soldiers with ugly greenery around you would find in an arrangement pre-made at the store. The recipients were not happy either. Just overall disappointed and would not use Ovando again when sending flowers in New York. Only giving two stars because the person who took my order was really helpful and nice. I asked for a partial refund and they gave me $54, laughable. I could have made a better arrangement myself from Trader Joe's lilies. Do not use Ovando, you're better off visiting your local grocery store. Wasn't planning on writing this review but dealing with them after the fact and receiving that refund is insulting.
