I went in for dinner with my grandparents. Rehanna was our waiter she was very sweet and helpful. My grandmother ordered the mahi mahi sandwich wich was so good my grandpa ordered the siracha sandwich and rehanna explained to him how they could change the sandwich so it wasnt spicy he said it was very good also the bacon cheese fries. I had ordered the dc cobb burger was absolutley amazing the best burger ive had inna long time, we had also got the pretzel stick appetizer with a side of cheese and cinnamon sugar sauce which was very good the pretzels were amazing and i had added the cinnamon sugar spread to my burger an that was sooo gooood. The restuant itself was adorable spacious. The vibes were immaculate. I will definetly be coming back here. Rehanna constantly checked on us making sure we had everything we wanted. read more

I have been in DC Cobbs a couple times now. I really liked the indoor atmosphere that is nicely decorated. They have a smaller patio area is nice and the waitress was attentive too. Their grilled chicken with avocado asiago and bacon is delicious and same with their sweet potato fries. Their cocktail prices are reasonable and they have a large lit up bar area that's really nice. You can tell they spared no expense to decorate this place. Impressive! However my friend ordered a cheeseburger hamburger that I thought was too spicy and not recommended. I'll go to the bar Tracks in Cary for an amazing burger instead. DC Cobbs does offer grass fed beef for an up charge. Overall I really liked this place. I will definitely be back! read more

Burger was good, and have a lot of option on choice of meet corn vs. grass fed beef and that type of stuff! A little on the pricy side but for a nice lunch or dinner with the family it's a good choice! Has sweet potato fries with my burger and they came with a fun sauce! read more

For starters I'd like to say that the service by the server, food runner was great. No issues there. My husband ordered the Shandy but it tasted sour and old. We asked for something different which was ordered and brought- however the beer was never removed and was on the bill even though we didn't drink it. We both ordered burgers medium rare and both of them came out well done. We informed the server but was not asked if we wanted something else or to take it back so we told her we'd just eat them, however, my burger was not enjoyable and I didn't even eat half of it. We asked the server for the manager to take it off, when we could have asked for all 3 to be removed. We were told we'd only get half off my burger so we asked to speak to the manager. It took almost 15 mins for her to come over and finally take off my burger. In the end I was satisfied with the outcome, however, it shouldn't have to be a headache and shouldn't be difficult to get your food the way you order it, and then to have it comped when it's overly done. Idk if or when we'll be back. This place has left a sour taste in my mouth. Props to whoever did the artwork in the booths tho- the ambiance of the place is cool and fun. read more

Our 1st time to East Dundee location. A very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The interior decorating is welcoming and interesting. Our server was Makenzi. Extremely attentive and accommodating. Great personality, and like to smile, A+++ for her! My wife drinks LaMarca Prosecco. I ordered for her (she was in bathroom). I told Makenzi to please bring bottle ou, wife's preference, she gave me questionable look, I said my wife like the SPLIT bottle with the glass. I explained what a SPLIT was. She smiled and said no problem. (In Woodstock, it is served by the SPLIT.) Makenzie came out with my beer, a glass for the wife, and a Full Size LaMarca bottle. My wife and I busted out in laughter! Wow that's a big SPLIT! Makenzie started laughing immediately, she was wondering why we wanted the whole bottle. She was great, just pay by the glass. So my next beer came. Then she said cheapest if do the bottle. I said bring another flute! My beers went down then the rest of the bottle of LaMarca! Was truly an epic laugh by all of us. The tables have such a large pedestal that a person using a wheelchair can not pull up to the table. And the elevators are behind locked doors. When I came down I was then locked in a little vestibule and couldn't get back in the restaurant. read more

Lack of staff (not surprising these days) and only one server in the entire place was wearing a mask. Food good (wraps and truffle fries) but way overpriced, especially since they have ridiculous upcharges. Example: truffle fries are an extra $3. Music blasting so loud, we could barely talk to one another across the table. Our server was the one wearing a mask (thank you!) and she was friendly and efficient. My husband's iced tea glass had a crack in the bottom, so as our server was carrying the glass to the table, the tea dripped all over the floor and then all over our table. We poured the tea into another glass on our table and used extra napkins to wipe up the table. We pointed out to our server that there was tea all over the floor - from the kitchen to our table - but it was never mopped up the entire time we were there. There was a nearby table with an elderly woman with a cane, so when they got up to leave, we had to warn them about the liquid on the floor so that they didn't slip and fall. This was our first time here but we have already invited some of our friends to join us next time we go. The food and the service was really good. The atmosphere was pleasant as well. We sat inside, though they have a nice outdoor seating area as well. The music was spot on for us too, just a nice mix of the last few decades and it was at a volume that was enjoyable, but didn't create a barrier for great conversation. They were busts when we got there so we chose to sit at the bar, but even the bar was comfortable! It had super comfortable seating and attentive and friendly staff that were on top of everything we needed. The bar area is a good place to watch spots as well if interested. Growing up in Dundee, I've always longed for a place with great food. Now that I'm over 50 and live in Indianapolis, DC Cobb's shows up! Been here twice now; once for appetizers and drinks late on a weekend. Today was lunch with mom. Both times have been wonderful! The food is all fantastic! Bison burger, Reuben, various egg roll appetizers. Great beer and cocktail selection, too! I'm up in Dundee regularly to visit friends and family. I am usually the last guy to review just the service vs food but we did not get a chance to try anything. We got the table (after our long bike trip) outside and given menus. Fifteen minutes later, nobody even came, waitresses passing by, no water, no beers. We asked one of the servers if someone will eventually come to us , she apologized and went inside. Another ten minutes and nothing, we have simply left. I understand that during busy time especially on Memorial day things can be overwhelming but some organization should be in place. read more

There is now a six percent (6%) fee added to your ENTIRE bill for take out containers! At least inform people of the charge!! 6% IS INSANE FOR TO GO CONTAINERS!! Best of luck with your price gouging! We've been longtime patrons of DC Cobb's in Woodstock, so we were especially excited to have one open in our neighborhood. We visited for the first time on Memorial Day, and despite a crowd, we were seated immediately on their beautiful upper deck space. Our server was prompt and courteous, even though she was still in training. Everything was delicious! Our burgers were cooked to a perfect medium, and my wife has fallen hard for their Caribbean Mule. The tiniest bit of a suggestion - the burgers needed just a bit more salt. Other than that, we both really enjoyed are meal, special requests and all. Also, it's worth nothing that they offered a complimentary burger to me as a Veteran on Memorial Day. I thought that was such a nice touch, and not something most area restaurants are willing to do. We are looking forward to enjoy DC Cobbs patio and deck all summer! read more

Loved the ambiance, really cool painted booths on the inside and awesome view of downtown East Dundee on the rooftop deck. The server was awesome, very friendly, and we didn't have too long for service. We got the pretzel sticks appetizer, they were tasty but felt it was over priced for only three sticks for $11. We didn't get the burgers but their burger menu looks interesting l, and unique and fair prices. The 4 star would be because the inside of the restaurant kinda smelt like dirty drains. Security is on a power trip here. Accidentally went out the wrong exit door to take a break from the music and was not allowed to re-enter. Offered to pay the cover even though my friends and I arrived to the bar before cover charges started, and instead we were kicked out into the rain with 6 brand new drinks sitting at our table. Ya'll... I don't know what is going on here but something just ain't right. Ate here tonight with my kids. Server was nice and attentive (this is where the two stars come from because without her this would be a no star). Ordered a salad (more on that later) and two orders off of the kids menu for chicken nuggets. SALAD: My order: southwest salad with no red onion. Result: in one bowl: some greens (oddly including chunks of celery), ice cold hard black beans, cold corn, something small and green (either green pepper or jalapeño, not sure as no taste), diced tomato and the equivalent of (no joke) a small handful of diced red onion. In a small bowl: the dressing. On a small plate: a sad looking cut up piece of breaded chicken. It honestly looked like someone prepped the salad and no one did the last step of combining it, mind you totally disregarding my one direction of no red onion. Price: $15 KIDS NUGGETS: comes with a drink and a side. One got fries and the other got tots (clearly the smarter choice, but I digress...) 5 nuggets and a handful of potato side. Both kids had been there THE DAY BEFORE and said the nugs were totally different and they got ten the previous day. Price: no idea because it wasn't on the menu, but it's a kids menu FINAL BILL; (sans tip) $49!!!!!! No booze, I had a WATER and... I just don't even know. It's literally 3am right now and I can't sleep because my hands smell of the copious amounts of red onion I picked out and my brain cannot compute how our bill was what it was. This means that with E. Dundee's tax rate of 9.25% our bill was $45. $15 for a kids meal? Did I make a wrong turn and end up in Switzerland??? read more

Cobbs was a great dining experience! Ate outdoors on Friday night with a group and Karly as our server. She was accommodating and bubbly. The food was delish too, the chicken fries are a must try. I personally had the Popeyes with an impossible patty which was undistinguishable from meat. Definitely will come back to try the bison and turkey Pattie's as well. We ate outside on the patio while there was a DJ indoors jamming out. The walls have influential figures like Anthony bourdain painted onto them and the bathrooms were rustic in design. Enjoyed a pleasant dinner on the patio facing "the square" We had burgers with side salad and fries. I had "the Groundhog" and my wife had a classic cheeseburger. The burgers were really good and, seemed fresh and were cooked perfectly. One of us had a side salad and it too was very good. It was large Everything, had nice toppings and all seemed fresh.. Sweet potato fries seemed overcooked and I would not recommend these. Overall, a really good burger restaurant that I look forward to going to again.
