At this point I feel like the website photos are just false advertising. The difference is astounding and disappointing. Ordered the blue streak burger that has buffalo chicken tenders on it, just look at the website menu picture versus what I got. I audibly laughed when I opened the box and saw this. Surely you can't be serious charging almost 18 dollars for this? They have some really tasty food here, used to come often, but in the last year the portions are now extremely small, the quality has gone down noticeably, and the prices are outrageous for what you now get. read more

I had the chicken fries as an appetizer and they were so good that I almost ordered another one, but didn't want to ruin my meal.... Honestly had the best Quesadilla's ever and the Dynamite Shrimp was great. My server was so polite and really answered all of our questions so well. I believe her name was Ella. Like the vibe of DC Cobb's...Like the food too! The rooftop patio is a cool spot for lunch, drinks, apps or dinner. It's really open and does have a nice view of the downtown East Dundee square. In my visits, the apps and the burgers gets a thumbs up. (I like the wraps at Hart's Garage, a sister restaurant, so I bet they are good here too.) in the winter, the indoor area is nice as well. The bar is big and there are lots of cool booths/tables with interesting art. What I don't love are the prices and the tap beer options. There are no domestic beers on tap, which just seems silly. And a White Claw is about $8 once tax gets added. Come on. The food prices are a bit steep too, even for today's conditions, their price/portion ratio needs a bit of work. I'll be back, for sure, just a couple small criticisms. read more

A diner with a hip feel. D.C. Cobb's puts a lot of attention on their beer and burgers, and these are certainly good. It has not only meaty burgers, but also some plant based options. Even though it's expensive burgers. There's also some other sandwiches. Because we were hungry we got something big. It has a big burger menu. There's like 15 or more types. Each is named after a celebrity or local attraction. They also have the choice of making your own burgers with any toppings. For drinks, they usually have some kind of special going on. They had $4 Long Island Iced Teas. Even though these were kind of watery they had a punch. The burgers are big, but pricy unfortunately. It's $14 for a regular burger. Then add a few more bucks to make it an Impossible Burger, which comes with a side. Good stuff but not quite worth as much. They also charge per topping besides just the basic lettuce, onions, and tomatoes, so it will get even more pricy. Can't complain about the taste of the drinks and food. It certainly was just too expensive for some plant based burgers honestly. These also add up even more if getting extra toppings. read more

The food here is to die for I ordered 3 different things my first time trying it and I'm going to tell you it went above and beyond my expectations. I got the honey siracha burger but I got chicken instead and it was perfect temperature even being delivered it was awesome I also got the Chicago Mac n cheese and that was excellent and last but not least the loaded rice perfectly made and had great ingredients I'd definitely give this place a try if your in the Elgin/dundee area. read more

We love coming here because the food is delicious, the staff is great and friendly, and I believe the price for the food is excellent compared to most places. Our go to meal is the Cobb's Cobb salad but they also have a variety of signature burgers, with different selections of meat to choose from. Sat at the bar and ordered dinner with the wife. Each of our orders got messed up but were rectified by the food runners. I got a chicken sandwich which was good but not worth the price. I got the same chicken sandwich from the Woodstock location and I remember it being amazing. This was not it. The bartender didn't check on us once except for when we closed out nor did she even realize she messed up our orders. All in all was pretty weak! read more

I admit I was really pumped to come here (maybe I had expectations that were too high?). Lots of burgers, some really unique ones, but I can't say they were great. I had the burger with an egg, hash browns and bacon but I can't say I loved it. Lots of beers on tap, and the server was fantastic. Would I come again? Maybe. I am not sure I would get a burger, they have other options that I might try. We go to Bulldog Alehouse and compared to DC Cobb's I think they are comparable. read more

My daughter and I stopped in for a quick lunch on Saturday afternoon. There are so many awesome restaurants in the area and this one definitely is one of them. Our server was great...she was very attentive. We were able to take our time looking the menu over and were given a few suggestions.
