There is a Waterpark, Playground, Bike Park, Sandy Area with Volleyball nets, and Tennis Courts in this surrounding area as well! Also, South Surrey Recreation & Arts Centre offers tons of exercise and sport classes along with their large gym facility. It's great to walk around and see all the sport events happening or walk your dog (leashed) on a big open field. I really wish you could take them off-leash but no can do doggo. But there's an amazing Off-leash Dog Park near by - Dogwood Park! Plenty of free parking around the area as well! Public washrooms available at the South Surrey Recreation & Arts Centre and Rotary Club Centre. Overall, such a great part of South Surrey to get your heart racing and muscles pumping! It was a windy and chilly autumn day with the orange leaves and green grass contributing to an overall magical feel. In the time I spent strolling around the park I was the only one about and about on foot. A large grassy area was encircled by a paved path with trees closer to the edges of the park. Benches speckled along the paved walkway provided places to sit. A cluster of amenities abutted a tree-covered hill with small trail system. Included was a covered picnic table area, a playground, and a swing set with swings both for the young kiddos and more adult size. It was a pleasant place to go for a stroll.

Nat Bailey is the home of the Vancouver Canadians A ball minor league baseball team. We had time before our flight home to check it out and they did not disappoint! We took an Uber in from downtown and was dropped off out front, about a 20 minute drive. We were able to check in our luggage at the stroller check located next to the Children's Play Area near the 3rd base entrance which was nice! I did confirm before we went to make sure. It was easy to enter and walk around the venue. It's small since it's a minor league park but it had that old nostalgic feel and everyone was so nice! They have plenty of beer and food options to try! I had the poutine fries of course and my hubby had their foot long dog! Both were delicious!!! And don't forget, you can go to guest services and they'll give you a button for your first time visiting! Weather was great, people were great, and although they didn't get the W, it was a super fun time!

They had great food then. Bar Hop had a food truck with exceptionally delicious food as well as the Tribe serving hamburgers. This year, the Lefties team owner kicked out all vendors hoping to support advertising of his own new restaurant. Now they only serve hotdogs, funnel cake and pretzels at the games and they are mediocre at best. The beer selection is still good but the business decisions of the team owner leave the experience no better than a high school event.

This is an old fashion grass field that is located in the center of Downtown Kirkland. It is some of the best burgers around and also surrounded by other establishments. We are so fortunate to have such a facility in our town. I would have to tell everyone if you are driving by and the lights are on, stop by and grab a burger. They are good and the burger snack is run by a local kids baseball organization. Summer warm nights are on their way soon, stop by the park. The playground in the outfield is lit by the baseball field at night so little ones can play even when it is dark and the run over and grab some dinner sit on the grass hill or bleachers and support our next generation of baseball stars.
