I signed my son up for batting training with a person by the name of rocky. I took my son to the business which was very nice inside, and he went into a batting cage for his first training session.
For some reason, he only pitched when he was scheduled to bat. I later learned that the facility does not provide bats to its customers. When he was finished, the person that was coaching him, completely ignored me. It seemed very strange that he was only talking to my son and seemed to act as if I wasn't there. My son asked to look at baseball bats and he showed us one for $599. We left and I asked my son why the employee never bothered to speak to me or even introduce himself. My son was wondering the same and thought it was strange.
We did schedule a follow-up appointment for this week and I just called and canceled it. I believe there are other baseball training facilities that would not only be more than happy to take my money, they would at least take the time to introduce themselves to a child's parent, especially someone who told my son that he previously played professional baseball. read more
