She is in need of some serious counseling. It appears that she is suffering from burnout. Her actions border on elder abuse.

I don't think I've ever been this comfortable with any of my previous doctors. Very refreshing to have a doctor who isn't cold, aloof and unapproachable. She even remembered some of the conversations we had on my last visit more than a year ago. But what really stuck with me is that she discovered things that my old Dr. Wilging (see my review) did not even bother to find out, which led to my health suffering. On my last visit, I had my usual mammogram and annual exam. She went through my lab work and immediately had me undergo a colonoscopy. Since cancer runs in my family, this wasn't the first time I had one but I sensed an urgency in her request to gave me go in. Last Friday, I underwent my colonoscopy and they found a good-sized polyp in my colon. Thank God it was benign!!! If it weren't for her insistence, I may have put it off and it could've become cancerous. She literally saved me as there are no symptoms that would have clued me into what was growing inside of me. Dr. Hunt removed the polyp and I am recovering as we speak...so relieved. She makes me smile and laugh but most importantly, she listens. He has super legit credentials from Sharp hospital. I went to his practice in La Mesa. He is beyond personable and does an excellent job of creating a safe space and comfortable environment for patients. He explores all options of treatments and gives solid recommendations as well as explains each option for treatment before recommending or scheduling any procedure. Most doctors are in a hurry to get you in and out, but he really wants you to understand your options. Love this about him! He genuinely cares about his patients and love what he does and it shows. His office staff are super kind and patient. They keep you informed and do a great job of communicating. I really appreciated that. How Mary manages all the patients with a positive attitude, coordinates everything, works in the Operating room and remembers everyone by name is beyond me. In reading the other reviews I was a little shocked to hear about the negative comments of others. Unfortunately people only tend to leave reviews when they have negative experiences, (hence the blank profiles with a total of 5 reviews - all negatively blasting businesses) but I was beyond blown away at the care and personalized patient experience I received from Dr. Dickinson and his staff. Also please keep in mind due to HIPPA and patients privacy I highly doubt Dr. Dickinson and his staff come on here to tell their side of those negative reviews and instead maintain their integrity and keeping patient confidentiality, again demonstrating another one of his remarkable qualities. As for his front office, I'm surprised to hear that somebody had a negative experience. Personally, I have never had a problem with scheduling/rescheduling visits, handling my prescriptions and insurance needs.
