If they tell you 10 days they are lying and they will later admit the same. Now I need bilateral eye surgery. First they make me wait a year--yes, a whole year to get it scheduled. Then they set it for bilateral but do all the work up for just one eye. Then they have to re-do everything to fix their errors. They will call and have you come back for tests they "forgot" to do. But they'll give you call back numbers you can't use--only doctors get to call directly. Patients must use the 800#. If you call the 800# the hold time is an hour. Then they transfer you to ophthalmology and you hold another 45 minutes. This has been my experience three different occasions--so not odd, but Kaiser's normal. When you get through--50% of the time they hang up on you. They don't know the names of the department's technicians so when you ask for say (in my case Crystal) they'll just hang up on you--after you waited for 1.45 hours!!! They won't even give you time to say, "Could you just look up who called and why then?" Nope! They are so RUDE. Eventually you give up and drive in to find out what surgery called about. I found out it was to re-measure my eyes. This is the 4th time to measure them. I wonder if they'll end up operating on my nose vs my eyes. I am truly SCARED. These guys are a bunch of Bozos!

From start to finish, my experience at Sharp Grossmont's Emergency Department was exceptional. From check-in, to being escorted to triage, to every interaction throughout my visit, every single point of contact was friendly, efficient, and thorough. What stood out to me most was how genuinely kind and positive everyone was. Every staff member seemed to take pride in what they were doing. They did their jobs efficiently and thoroughly, while still making me feel cared for as a person. I've had experiences in other emergency rooms before, and this was by far the best experience I've had, especially considering the circumstances that brought me there. A very special thank you to Dr. Alex Kim, who sutured the wound above my eye. Having an injury on my face was obviously stressful, and I was concerned about how it would heal. Dr. Kim was extremely professional and meticulous, took his time, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the repair. I can already barely see the incision, and I am incredibly grateful for the care and attention he put into his work. No one wants to find themselves in an emergency room, but I walked away from this experience feeling incredibly grateful. The level of care I received truly went above and beyond, and I hope this review helps ensure that Dr. Kim and the entire Sharp Grossmont ER team receive the recognition they deserve.

I thought if I went to this Marque Urgent Care Clinic yesterday to ask one of their Doctors to give me a Blood Test and an Ultrasound on my right leg which I was experiencing moderate to severe pain that feels like a tingling sensation from underneath my right knee down towards my right foot. I also have swelling in my right leg and my skin on the front and back of my right leg is warm to the touch. These symptoms that I am describing are signs of a Blood Clot in my right leg and I was advised by my nurse to walk into this Marque Urgent Care Clinic yesterday. A blood clot is a very serious medical condition. It's a medical emergency. When I called yesterday at 4 PM I got an answering machine that said ALL OF THERE MEDICAL STAFF IS BUSY AND LEAVE A MESSAGE. I did leave my full name and my cell phone number to call me back ASAP. This Marque Urgent Care Clinic NEVER called me back yesterday and I have a serious Blood Clot in my right Leg, if this blood clot breaks off it can move up to my heart and I can have a Heart Attack and Die.

I would strongly discourage anyone from choosing Dr. Robin Spearing based on my mother's experience…read moreunder his care. Her experience was one of the most frustrating and disappointing interactions with a physician that our family has ever encountered. Dr. Spearing's bedside manner was consistently poor. He often seemed dismissive of concerns, unwilling to listen, and lacking in basic follow-through. One of the most unbelievable and recurring issues was his habit of leaving the exam room, saying he would return, and then never coming back. This happened so frequently that my mother eventually addressed it directly during an appointment. As he was preparing to leave the room, she told him that he had a habit of saying he would come back and then never returning. His response was, "I promise, promise I'll be right back." He then walked out and never came back. My mother was absolutely stunned. To have that happen immediately after it was brought to his attention was both shocking and incredibly unprofessional. Another incident that raised serious concerns involved blood work. My mother specifically asked about her blood sugar results and was told everything was fine. She later discovered that her blood sugar had not even been tested. Learning that he had provided reassurance about something that apparently had not been checked completely eroded our confidence in the care being provided. There also seemed to be constant turnover among the nursing staff. Nearly every appointment involved a different nurse, making it difficult to establish any consistency or continuity of care. Patients deserve a physician who listens, communicates clearly, follows through on commitments, and treats people with respect. Unfortunately, that was not my mother's experience. She frequently left appointments feeling dismissed, frustrated, and unheard. Based on what our family experienced, I would not recommend Dr. Spearing to anyone seeking attentive, patient-centered medical care.
