Chicken Caesar wrap was thrown together, swimming in dressing, had 3 croutons an the chicken was NOT bite sized. It was wrapped like a four year old child would do it! Food and service has gone downhill. My wife and I ordered the number nine steak sub small. There appeared to be plenty of meat, but any of the vegetables the peppers onions, etc were minuscule. I requested 2 cups of water from the manager. He said we don't provide water. I brought 2 cups over from the area next to the counter and he said we provide cups, but we don't provide water. I took an Aquafina bottle from the refrigerator and we drank the water from the cups from that. I went to the counter and ask him if he wanted me to pay for the water and he said "of course". No apologies no discomfort on his part... Just milking the customer for another $3.20. Take the title of general manager off of your shirt. Not many people in the place over the lunch hour. Corporate will hear on this too. I expect a better attitude from the people I spend my money with. And I expect better quality food. read more

I generally Call in advance for no waiting They have plenty of choices and the sandwiches are always hot and tasty. The rolls are also very fresh. My #1 is probably a Number 9 with steak, grilled veggies and cheese all melted in. Mmmm, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Another tasty one is their Thanksgiving "something " not sure what it's called but it's basically a Thanksgiving dinner in a sub roll - sliced turkey breast with hot stuffing and even cranberry sauce! Very tasty. I've also enjoyed several of their soups when I felt I needed more, I didn't need more but was really hungry when ordering - I ended up eating the soup and only eating half of the sandwich, which I ate later around dinner time. Attached to our takeout order bag was a typed up note asking for reviews. In large type across the top it says "WE LOVE 5 STARS" This phrase is repeated 3 more times in the note. Nope. Absolutely not going to happen. To earn 5 stars you would have to actually make sandwiches correctly, which you have struggled with for years. In today's order, 3 out of the 4 sandwiches were wrong, one unfixable, making it inedible. 2 of the 3 wrong sandwiches were listed correctly on the receipt, one was not. This tells me that both the person taking the order AND the person making the food got it wrong. I don't believe they actually care about doing their job correctly or making the customers happy. It's nearly impossible to get an order right at this location and I am finally done trying. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is that apparently the one sandwich that was made correctly was good, according to the person eating it. The other 3 of us think that 1 star is even too much. Close this place and let a decent business use the space instead. read more

Yesterday evening at 7:30 PM I ordered a sandwich at D'Angelo using Uber Eats. I was told it would be delivered by 8:30 PM. At 9 PM I called the store in Dennis to ask why my food had not been delivered. Je acknowledged my order, told me that they were closing and cleaning up. He then called me "irrational" for calling and asking about my food order. The order was cancelled 15 minutes later. I was not offered an apology or credit for a future order. It's an OK sandwich place. Ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with a white tortilla. Messed up my order and gave me whole wheat. The meal wasn't great, it was satisfactory except that it would be better if the chicken was heated up. The ranch was tasty, so were the croutons and lettuce pieces. The buffalo sauce wasn't that spicy, which is a minus (spice lover). Low pieces and good sized portions. read more

D'Angelo's is D'Angelo's. This location gets a bonus point for service from everyone on staff. They have Ring Bros/Harney's dang near right next door with premium cold sandwiches, so they have to stay on point. And they do. The #9 is the legendary steak sandwich. I like the occasional tuna salad sandwich and they do it right without a lot of mayo. Their bread is MUCH better than Subway. (I hate to even mention that chain, but there it is. Subway is all over the place on the Cape now.) One thing I don't understand is the lobster salad. I like D'Angelo's too much to try that and then be disappointed. We know no one is steaming lobsters there, so what is that stuff? Does it come in a big 5 gallon tub from some factory? I appreciate the Buy a Lobster Sandwich, Get any Sandwich Free deal that they offer if you register your loyalty card, but I'd rather see a money back guarantee for that particular sandwich. This was not good. I ate an Italian sub, and had I not been ravenous I would have thrown it in the trash. There was far too much meat, (which I would usually be psyched about), the actual cuts of meat were bland and under seasoned, the vegetables were watery and flavorless, and the bread was cheap and disappointing. How could you fuck up a sandwich? If the goal was to produce food that tastes like sadness, then I would give D'Angelo's 5 stars. However, this is earth.
