Got here as a rest and gas stop on the way back home from PA. We wanted something quick and yet not in the realm of the corporate burger fast food complex. D'Angelos is walking distance from several gas stations and we decided to enter. The place is clean and welcoming, and so are the rest rooms. That makes a good first impression. Service was superb, a friendly attendant by the register and a nice gentleman who offered us the take out menu for whenever we're traveling through there again. D'Angelos makes a good business in the online ordering sphere. They kept on coming nonstop when we were there. As well, several other people walked in for sit down eating, mostly a younger clientele, apparently from several of the colleges nearby. We had two good subs, a teriyaki chicken and a southwest chicken. Both superb. A good choice on our travels. read more

This was a great sandwich place to stop on the way home. So many options to choose from including bowls, salads and even lower calorie bread options like pitas. I opted for the thanksgiving meal sandwich without the mayo in a pita pocket. Although the cranberry sauce was cold, the turkey and stuffing were both warm and It came with a warm gravy on the side which was the perfect addition to the sandwich. My hubby got the chicken teriyaki rice bowl and the sauce was perfect with the grilled veggies! It reminded me of a high end Subway or Blimpie with casual seating and friendly staff. I wish they had this chain closer to NY-- It would definitely be on my list as a regular stop. read more

The team members were friendly and excited to see us. I came to d'angelos because I missed the sandwiches here. It was one of my first stops on my visit to Massachusetts. I always order the lobster role which was fresh and I missed the grilled hotdog roll. The lobster roll is only available in the summer months. Every other time I get the steak "grinder"! The clam chowder was filled with chunks of potato and clams. Creamy and delicious! The restaurant had plenty of seating and clean. I was planning to eat in the restaurant, but they only have cans of soda rather than the standard soda fountain found at nearly every fast food restaurant. So I asked for water, but they won't give you tap water, and a bottle costs $3. ‍ I got the Southwestern sub to go. It tasted pretty good though it was quite soggy. When I want a D'Angelo's small Korean sammich, there is nothing else that will replace that craving. I've never sat and eaten in the Greenfield restaurant but the people serving the take out counter are always friendly and nice, even when i ask for extra cilantro, and the food is yummy & dependable. read more

The food is good but the manager is the star. Great service everytime. Mostly take it to go and it's never cold.

This location is clean and neat, the staff are friendly and really seem to work as a team. As we were traveling home after a long day of shopping in Holyoke we decided to stop in at D'Angelo's to grab some subs for dinner. When we showed up at the restaurant we were greeted by a polite employee who quickly took our order. The store itself was clean and comfortable to sit in while we waited for our food. We ended up buying two steak and cheese subs which were made very quickly. It was great to get in and out of the restaurant but the issue we ran into was the fact that the sandwiches we bought were not made correctly. One sandwich was missing some of its toppings while the other was sloppy. In the end the sandwiches were okay but they could have been made much better. We hope that the next time that we stop in here we hope it is a better experience so that way we can bump up the rating. read more

Fantastic service! Friendly, quick, and Professional! Probably should have led with: the food is DELICIOUS!

I came here on May 20 during the day, it was quiet with only 1 other customer who had already been served. But for some reason, the 3 workers who were there ignored us for 5 minutes when we entered? I wouldn't have minded at all if they were busy, but they were joking around, and wouldn't even look at us. They dropped a piece of bread on the ground and then threw it back in, right in front of us. They shouldn't do that, especially in front of someone who may buy that bread :( We finally asked to be helped, and the employee who came to take our order was rolling his eyes at us, even though we were not rude, just didn't want to keep waiting for them to finish flirting. I don't expect to be treated that special just because I'm buying a $9 sandwich, but I don't expect to be unwelcome, either. One of the other employees actually stepped in to take our order, since the other guy clearly didn't want to. I don't post reviews just on service, since I don't care, but in this case the service was reflected in the food. The meat was all piled up in the center, and it was extremely greasy, making the bread soggy. It just tasted so bad, it was a waste of money. The whole time the food was being made, I kept catching glares from the workers. It made me wonder if they purposely made the sandwich bad? D'angelo is our favorite sandwich chain, and usually the sandwiches are crispy, balanced in flavor, and delicious. I'm sure that the workers don't always act like this, and I'm sure this doesn't generalize to everyone working at this location, but we've decided to eat only at the Northampton location, even though this location is convenient for us. read more

Over the last year D'Angelo's has become the best place in Greenfield to get a sub. I went away from them a couple of years ago because they did away with my favorite sandwich the Vermont Cheddar with horseradish. The quality of the other locations have dropped greatly in that time. The staff always greet you as you come in the door and store is always well maintained. The sandwiches are always top quality however slightly over priced. read more

And they are absolutely terrible the store is dirty and the owner is very rude she needs to go to public relations school!
