There are plenty of spots to park but if you want to get prime parking definitely get to your event early! We came for Pizza Palooza where I was working a booth. The line was out the door a long ways, I'd say for as many events as there are here I would expect a safer method of getting people in the door as there were cars trying to get in a out. Which with kids and people walking it just seems like this could be improved as it was very congested by the gates. The venue itself is wide open and plenty of stuff to do for kids and parents. It was very nicely set up with good bands playing all night. One more thing I would improve is the bathrooms, they were decent but I feel like as much money as they get the bathrooms would be cleaner. Everything was well stocked though.

I hate the term "hidden gem," buuuutt, Centennial Terrace is one of the Toledo's HIDDEN GEMS!…read more What? You say CT is actually in Sylvania, not Toledo? Stop. Just friggin' stop. Now, it might just be a function of the shows and events that are held here (pizzapalooza, the 80s party, the 70s party, the 90s party, all the tribute bands and the other live music), but anytime I've ever been here, it's been a blast! If you're drinking, they have plenty of options. If you're not, they have fewer, but still plenty of, options. The food? Well, outside of special events (like pizzapalooza, or food trucks with the craft beer fest), the food is what you'd get at a neighborhood swimming pool. Never great, but never horrible. PRO TIP: if you're attending an event here, and you're able to bring a crew, make sure that you rent a table. It's worth the dough. It REALLY helps to have a home base, to take a load off, now and again. So yeah, Centennial Terrace, is absolutely one of TOLEDO'S HIDDEN GEMS! Five diamonds...I mean stars!!

What I thought would be 2 very different experiences ended up being very similar. Both instantly they let you play your own music. Obviously party music for the party bus. They provide ice and cups and water. The wine tour also offered sodas. BYOB and they provide bottle openers so you can enjoy your goodies. The wine tour took us to 3 wineries in 4 hours. Tight time schedule because the farthest winery is 45 minutes from Toledo and that trolley doesn't really go speed limit. I'm glad it doesn't because my butt was hurting from the uncomfortable seats but after the first stop and some drinks you don't feel it much anymore. We stopped at Leisure time winery, majestic winery and american winery. Limited food options. Only male on the trolley was the driver but he was a sweetie pie and put up with all the female chatter. Now you would think a trolley full of women would be pretty mild but we were dancing down the aisle by the second stop. Now the party bus has same offerings but the seating was much more plush. Comfortable seating with 2 levels so plenty of space. The anniversary couple chose the stops and it was more of a bar hop til 2am. Check my pics. It was a good time but I took an uber home about 1. Only so much alcohol u can consume in a 5 hour period. Team Johnson is definitely a well organized company. They post their events on eventbrite. I would definitely do one of their tours again. Worth checking out

Always something about hotel lobbies, fireplaces, and good friends that is satisfying. The Friday night buffet is BBQ, and following a week of Great Smokies's dining, we were eager to enjoy "German style" meals. Brisket was better than southern; pulled pork had no flavor; ribs were burned; great salad bar; very few veggies. Rustic-style hotel located within the Sauder Village complex, featuring an indoor pool with a waterfall, complimentary hot breakfast, and charming timber-frame architecture. Hotel is on par with nice Ohio State Park property. Our room was a suite - large inclusive living room with Great Bed. Also a special sun room is attached. Great services and service folks. Caveat: avoid rooms in pool area; we like children, but even one high pitched voice fills an area. Highly recommend.

When our premature babies were stuck in the NICU, they came to the hospital and did an extra session there. In addition to our scheduled session. The session was great. We gave our general idea and she ran with it, providing her eye to fill in the details. Ann Marie has a variety of props, costumes, and set dressings in the studio to flesh out the look. The final pictures make our babies look like models! They're holding hands in one of them! Her way with babies is remarkable. She kept them both calm and placid while she dressed and posed them. She had a few tricks to pull this off, including an automatic shusher. Knowing that our little ones came from the NICU, she had a NICU nurse on site to help. The whole time, we had a comfortable couch to sit on, watching the process and giving our input. Watching the session was fun for us! She even took one pic with our phones so we had a preview to share with the world. My one other criticism is that the studio is a little hard to find. It's in a large shopping village in which every store looks the same. It's above the ice cream place, which is free standing in the middle of a square. When I first saw the price for the session, I balked, but after a nice experience and great results, it was worth every penny.
