Yaaaaas! Another hidden gem tucked away in a nondescript strip mall on Belcher Road. The highlight here are the filled-while-you-wait donuts. 2 flavors of jelly plus creme are available. And this is no little squirt. There's enough jelly (my favorite) to have a taste with every bite. The cake donuts are fresh, raised perfectly and generously glazed. Really really good. Try this place. You won't be disappointed.

I came in to get some doughnuts while we were in the area for 4th of July weekend. There are other menu items such as muffins, sandwiches, coffee, and pastries to choose from. The affordable prices made my wallet and heart happy. A half dozen huge donuts, a blueberry muffin, and a small coffee came out to around 8 bucks. I could have easily spent more at a local doughnut shop close around where I live on just the doughnuts alone. The items were fresh and enjoyed to the fullest. My kids thought the doughnuts were better than Dunkin', so you're doing something right! The staff provided a friendly and smooth service and the place was clean. We won't hesitate to stop in next time when we make a visit to Clearwater again.

Let me tell you... it will be hard to choose which delicious donut to choose when you come here. So many options to choose from apple fritters to glazed and cake donuts to filled donuts. So now that we are talking about the filled donuts, at this donut shop you get to choose the filling type and they fill them right there! I was so in shock I haven't seen a donut place do that before. I bought a dozen variety donuts ranging from filled, cake, fritters, and maple iced. All are very tasty and sweet. D and E donuts is conveniently located on Belcher in a strip mall near Nursery Rd.

Another good find! Flying solo this morning as wifie is working and I am on my way to run some errands I had the craving for donuts. The place I used to go to stopped selling donuts to focus more or the fancy bakery items. So I remembered passing this place multiple times. I finally stopped in to grab a quick to go and I'm glad I did. First, this place is located in the plaza strip right off Belcher road. You won't miss the store name "D&E Donuts". As I sat here writing this review, I have noticed the traffic volume is constant. This means what the shop has to offer are good. Could be all the locals' breakfast spot. As you go in, it's a small quiet space with some seating area. Right in front as you walk in is the display case with all the goodies. On to the goodies. The donuts are fresh. It does not have that stale appearance Iike they have been sitting in the display case for hours. It is soft, light and fluffy, but when you bite into it, you get auth full of goodness. I also ordered donut holes and let me tell you, I am popping those things in my mouth like a baseball player popping sunflower seeds in thieve mouth. I found a new donut place that is close by. I can honestly say that this taste better than those big donut shops that's been around for many many years. The company I used to work for a while back for 10 years, but that companies quality and service has gone down the drain. With that being said, the place is operated by a couple whom are very quick to get your order packed and ready to go. They are friendly and patiently waits while you look over the selection. Would definitely recommend this place and WILL definitely be a regular here.

This place falsy advertises themselves as having vegan donuts. They do not. Nothing there is nothing vegan and the guy behind the counter was incredibly rude when we asked him if anything was vegan, he said "no" then he just started taking some other guys order for coffee. Its not like they were busy, us and the other guy were the only people there, hes just rude. Stay away from this place. read more

We finally stopped here and it was great! The owner was very nice and friendly. Donuts were on point! Very fresh. I ordered the shrimp po-boy for $6.20. I ended up just eating the shrimp because they were so good. Perfectly seasoned and not over cooked. The only thing is I wished they had a remoulade for the po-boy. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. The name on Yelp needs to say D&E Donuts and Seafood. It's confusing with the donut name with seafood listed below. Hope that helps! read more

Just found this place thanks to yelp and tried it this morning. The donuts were absolutely delicious! The coffee was yummy. We had 7 of them (I'm not even a bit sorry...) and a pig in a blanket. We tried the sugar donut (favorite of mine since having grown up in Puerto Rico!), the old fashioned donut (really great, but not as fresh as the others), the chocolate frosted (excellent texture and chocolate, but kinda tasted like it may have sat overnight), a cronut (holy sh*t), a plain glazed (move out of the way Krispy Kreme!), a fruity pebbles donut held together with yummy strawberry icing, and finally and probably the favorite a strawberry cake donut. We got half dozen donuts for like $6...you just can't find that price and quality anymore. This place is definitely special! The place is super tiny but has some tables you can sit at. Oh! They fill their donuts on the spot - they have the injectors sitting out front with different jellies and Bavarian cream - so that's a nice touch! Ohh! And they deliver!!! Hells yeah!!! The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is that like I said, a couple of the donuts tasted just a little bit like they'd maybe sat overnight. I'd prefer a fresh batch each morning for sure. But we will definitely be going back to this place and spread the word! read more

This is a great place. The donuts are light, and don't feel like you're biting in to a sugar cube like a certain national chain that will remain nameless. The pricing is very fair too. Best donuts in Pinellas country, hands down. Worth the drive no matter where you are. read more

Im so happy to have a real, locally owned donut shop close by. Their donuts are fantastic as is the service. They fill your jelly and cream donuts to order. We're so happy this place opened near us! Nothing better than home made donuts. Their breakfast meal deal is off the chain. You get a breakfast sandwich, donut and drink for 5 bucks. It's cooked to order, too! The croissant sandwiches are my absolute fave. The best part is how friendly the owners are. Very hospitable and friendly. We prefer places like this over Dunkin Donuts who's food and service doesn't even compare. Support local! read more

These are the best donuts I've had in a long time. The fruit filled are out of this world, full of flavor and filling. I haven't had the other menu items but have heard nothing but good things about them and I'm looking forward to trying them. Highly recommend!! read more

So happy to have finally found a donut place that I want to return to!!! I've been lamenting that all of them around here just throw more sugar on/into their donuts and call it good. These guys are so much better! As mentioned in other reviews, they will hand fill your jelly, Boston creme, etc... which is fabulous. They have amazing sour cream donuts and my two favorites were the strawberry and blueberry because it tasted like the fruit and not a mouthful of sugar. I really appreciate that and I can't wait for my next cheat day, this will be my first stop! read more

We were at a venders picking up materials and they had a couple dozen donuts out. Tried them and had to know where they came from. We have been hooked ever since. The owner has always been extremely friendly and very accommodating. Donuts are always very fresh and I love that they fill them when you order them. Delicious have never purchased donuts anywhere else since. read more

D&E is a good local donut shop/bakery. Very affordable, you can get a couple donuts and a coffee for only 3 bucks. I've tried multiple donuts and I'd compare them to Dunkin' Donuts, except a little more fresh tasting. They also carry other baked goods that looked good. All in all, pretty hard to knock a decent donut joint, give it a try! read more

Hidden Gem!!! Best donuts around town. He also has a large selection of vegan, dairy free, and gluten-free donuts. You can also choose your own filling made from scratch and freshly filled at the time of order. Coffee is great too and inexpensive. When you treat yourself to a donut, it should be a good one. This is that good one. No more wasted treat days on dry, mass produced Dunkin' Donuts. Lamenting the lack of good donuts upon moving here, my husband found this sugar glazed little gem of a place. Not only are the donuts fresh, and tasty, there's a wide variety and the prices are great. An added bonus, it's locally owned and those owners are nice and friendly. I can only attest to the greatness of the donuts, but other breakfast items, seafood and Po-boy lunch plates are served, as well. read more

Absolutely stellar. I came with a group and sampled 7 donuts between us! All fantastic. Their "filled donuts" are empty so you can choose the cream or jelly you want to fill them. Bear claws were like apple lie and I finally figured out why everyone talks about cronuts so much! Wonderful, friendly service ! Highly recommend! read more

I really like the food. Unique egg rolls for a buck, 4 bucks for a sloppy Joe's or homemade chicken fingers, every meals has been great. So I eat there often. Plus I love the donuts and ice coffee. Breakfast or are cheap too. read more

OMG, had my first D&E donut a couple months ago and it was heaven, good selection, wanted a vanilla creme filling, which they had available to add to any donut in the shop, so have gone back and tried the chocolate frosted, powered and plain, yum to all. I am a donut lover , for the most part we don't have any good donut shops in this area ! UNTILL D&E opened up :) The donuts are so fresh and like eating air with all of the good flavors added , if it's chocolate or Strawberry , or maple ... so many to choose from and they are all so good . The prices are so good too !! If you like a really good breakfast sandwich then this is your place , Fresh croissant with egg , cheese , and your choice of meat . For under $5 , you get a delicious sandwich , coffee and a fresh donut ! Ok , this place also makes fresh seafood , which we tried for the first time tonight . We had the cod fish dinner and it came with a choice of 2 sides . I had the french fries and coleslaw (homemade) and my husband also had the cod fish dinner with potato salad ( homemade) and french fries . We ordered 2 extras , hushpuppies and eggrolls . The cod was indeed REAL cod , fresh and delicious fried in a cornmeal batter , they were nice size and not one bit greasy . Homemade tartar sauce was very good too . I know you're thinking , FISH at a donut place ??? But I tell you , it was some of the best fish that I have had . The owners take great pride in everything they make and want the customers to be satisfied . Lots of layers, lots of cheese, plenty of meat sauce all packed with flavor. I cleaned the plate, as did most of the group. Really good pricing as well. I still like their beer, but I don't see another good reason to visit this place in person again. Their location is really nice, and I'm sure that it's nice to watch the sunset from while sipping a beer, so that's probably the only reason I'd go back.

We tried to eat here a couple of weeks ago, but the restaurant was closed for a week so the new management could renovate. The new management opened shop on 8/1/2026 and has improved upon the already impressive base he purchased from the old owners . In fact, they work hand in hand. The old owner still comes in the morning to provide fresh baked 'To Go' treats for the new owners to sell. Ancient family recipes passed down made for unique flavors and textures. The menu has something from every region around the med. So you can't go wrong. Abdul and 'Z' run the restaurant and kitchen like a well tuned clock. As soon as All-Star Elite Dave W. And I were seated we were brought complimentary Black Tea with several floating fresh mint leaves. Delicious. Z invited me back into the kitchen to see the new brick oven they have installed. Impressive. You can tell Z is proud of his tools and is committed to quality. Both Dave and I opted for water with our meal and were delighted to be served bottled water (No charge with a meal, $1 on its own). I ordered the Gyros Plate ($16.50). You won't find it on the menu, it needs to be updated. But there is a sign on the door that Gyros are available. Fantastic presentation with yellow rice, hummus, and a small Greek salad included. Only 2 pieces of pita pockets, but you can get more on request at no charge. The new owners are generous with helpings, but do not want food to go to waste. Extra olives on request as well. Mediterranean black and green olive medley. The Gyro meat was sliced off the rotating rack, then lightly grilled to perfection on the stove. Homemade tzatziki sauce was tasty as well. So, for all this great food and service why only 4.9 stars? The plasticware provided was the cheapest and flimsiest available. The plastic knife could not even cut Dave W's kabob. It bent in half when he tried to. Abdul took our recommendation of providing real silverware to heart and made a note. I have no doubt that on my next visit I'll see real silverware. The napkins were also the thinnest and least expensive available. I used about 20 or 30 of them. Upgrading the napkins to better quality will probably save them money in the long run because people will end up using less. Abdul was appreciative of our constructive criticism and I believe he will follow our recommendations. Next visit will definitely be five stars.
