I had 3 trees to remove, we discussed pricing beforehand. $400 per tree. Problems started immediately as soon as he realized I'm remotely managing this, with a tenant in place. Dylan visited the property and decided one of the trees was too big and wanted to charge higher amount ($650). I agreed. He then set out to do absolutely whatever HE felt was convenient. He cut one tree down. "Trimmed" another tree. At this point he called me and said he's done with 2 trees, can I send in the money for finishing up two trees. This was a blatant lie. I did not ask for proof, because I didn't think disgusting liars like Dylan existed anymore. I sent him the money. He sent me photos of what he did afterwards, which showed two of three trees still standing. On asking why there are 2 trees still up, he mentioned he spoke to the tenant and decided to keep the tree up. This didn't make any sense. Nobody changes the agreement without discussing it, lies about it to the person paying and gets paid as though they did the full work. That's when he ended up "finishing" the other tree with minimal work done (of trimming) because he had enough with this. Mind you his communication with me was to say nothing about all of this until he got paid, then he said his life was in danger to cut trees. Like who the heck forced him to work on things he didn't want to? He then said he'll "make it right" by showing up on Monday to fix it. Would you guess what happened next? He didn't show up and decided to run away with the money. Dishonest cheats like this shouldn't exist. I'm now looking at legal options to deal with the mess. Dylan has done a couple of jobs for me so far - replaced an entry door handle / lock and cleaned the exterior of my windows. He worked with me on what was needed and the most cost-effective ways to complete my small projects. In my encounters with him he seemed to always be focused on the best job he could do at a fair price. I will definitely be contacting D&D's Handyman Services for any future projects. read more

I had a pretty simple project to install a Ring doorbell. D&D responded quickly with an estimate, scheduled a date/time on short notice and showed up on time. Work was done promptly and service was courteous. Will definitely use again as other projects come up, highly recommend! read more

first i want to say anyone looking for a reliable handyman, please look somewhere else. don't make the mistake of contacting Dylan and his services. He will take advantage of your trust. We are not people who like to talk bad about others but what you did, Dylan, was wrong. Dylan you took the full jobs payment did only half of it and never came back to finish. Me a 26 wheelchair bound guy and my grandmother a 67yr old lady contacted Dylan for a kitchen faucet replacement project, a bathroom vanity/sink replacement project, and also for a backyard project to even it out with dirt. Everything was going well he installed the vanity/sink, had an issue with rusty old water valve said he needed to charge us $100 extra to change it, we said yes we trusted the guy. First mistake. After he went outside to do the backyard dirt job. Told us the dirt place ran out of dirt and he could only bring one load, but would finish it next week when he comes back to change kitchen faucet. We made the huge mistake of paying him the jobs entirely, thinking he would keep his word and come back since he seems trustworthy. For the following week we called and message him, always with the same excuse "i can't make it today but tomorrow i'll be there", on the last day we asked him if he was scamming us because it has been multiple days and he always made the same excuse over text messages, he then got offended said he would refund us the job he didn't finished/do at all but he never refunded it, he did less than half the jobs got payed FULL AMOUNT and never came back. Took advantage of an elder lady and a wheelchair person, took the money and never came back. read more

So guys before booking make sure you wait to hear back from other handy men on Yelp. I was looking for a small 33 in desk to be put together. I got on Yelp and asked for some quotes. I ended up going with the first guy who got back to me & he did the job for $80 which was fine by me and he was quick and did a great job annnnd fixed my book shelf, just because he saw it was shaky. I had another handyman quote me $65 but I'm happy I went with the first guy because his customer service was great. Now enters D&D....with a quote of $150 base pay plus $55 per hour. Some people are trying to earn long term business and others like D&D do not understand the concept and are trying to take advantage. Y'all definitely wait before booking this handy man his prices are not reflective of what others charge. read more
