As it was the holidays (and a weekend), I sent a message to Rick via his website and left a message. He called back quickly and spoke with us over the phone to diagnose the problem. (This was after a large, well-known plumbing company that serviced the area told me their plumbers were quite busy and would need to charge me time & a half since it was after-hours. To their credit, they did offer suggestions for other local plumbers...but after researching, those plumbers didn't have great reviews...unlike Heritage Plumbing). Rick gave advice on purchasing a new faucet from Home Depot and scheduled time to see us the next day, which was very nice since he was technically not planning to return to work for a few weeks. Once the work is complete, be sure to ask if all safety checks were completed (better yet, research what a plumber is supposed to for safety checks and watch or document what you see before giving payment) and ask him to go over what he did and make sure the work matches your estimate. Make him give you an invoice before he leaves your house and do not give him payment until you get it and you are completely satisfied with the work done.
