Let me say this was one of the worst experiences I have had dealing with an auto repair company. I understand this is located in NEPA, but there's no need to be so condescending to women. I was treated with disrespect, was patronized, and was made fun of in front of their colleagues by a man with dirt under his fingernails. He went so far as to say "maybe you can check the local Jaguar dealerships". He and I both know there's no Jaguar dealership in Luzerne County. But he thought it was a nice joke to make in front of his colleagues. I'm a professional and I treat people with respect. But the things he said to me were so ridiculous and overtly condescending that even my boyfriend privately said that he heard exactly what upset me. I refused to accept the charges that were given to me and their 'scare tactics'. My boyfriend agreed to pay for the fees because I knew I was being ripped off and after being treated with such blatent misogyny, I couldn't in good faith give my money to this company. I refused to even go in to pick up my car. I have never been treated this poorly by a group of men in my life. That is saying a lot. Trust me, if you are a woman, you do not want to deal with this group. But if they treat women this poorly, I am sure they treat men this poorly too. Stay away from here and do anything you can to never patronize this business.

I found myself getting new tires yearly...it was clear the tire rotations were being incorrectly done as well as my alignment that was absolutely uneven. The last few times I have used this place I have only had issues. I have also found places with cheaper prices for the same services ( oil change, tire rotation, alignment). I do not recommend.

I took our car there for an inspection. We've owned the car for one year, purchased with less than 20,000 miles on it. Drives perfect. After Kost "looked it over" I received a call informing me the vehicle did not pass, it needs tires (which was expected, they were at the point of just being needed and it probably was a judgment call as to whether they passed or not) we expected that. The man who called then told me our front rotors "were completely shot" and I "really shouldn't even be driving it". The car brakes as smooth as can be, no grinding, squealing, or shaking in the steering wheel, nothing. I told him I would pick it up. I will say on a positive note, they do not charge you and give you 30 days to bring it back just gave me the keys. They were polite & professional. We took it to a different garage a couple days later and they called and said it needs tires. So I guess it wasn't a judgement call lol. Brakes were fine. If I had just took Kost's word for it they would have charged hundreds of dollars to put brakes on our vehicle. Oh, and windshield wipers that also seem perfectly fine and weren't an issue at the other garage. I personally do not trust this establishment any longer. Thanks for reading.

Driving on the first leg of our trip home from western PA in our 2016 Flex, the battery charge…read morelight came on almost immediately. We drove about 260 miles to our stop for the night on Sunday. We had watched the warning light stay on and then go off for a while and then come back on. We had another 340 miles to go on Monday but our son advised us not to go before getting it checked since it appeared to be the alternator and the car could stall on our way if we tried. We were expecting a snowstorm on Tuesday at home in NH so we were searching for a place that could take care of us on Monday. We settled on Key Ford as our only chance. We ended up dealing with Service Advisor, Brian Kozuck, and he indicated they would do their best to get us on the road by the end of the day. Brian kept us informed as they diagnosed the problem (it was the alternator which was bench tested and failed) and worked on replacing it. All looked like it would be finished by 5pm closing but at the last minute things were not checking out. The replacement alternator was not putting out the required amperage. It was 5pm and looking like another 2 nights at the hotel so we could drive home after the storm. Brian offered to drive me back to the hotel and we started out. About 5 minutes into the drive he got a call from his mechanic who indicated he had found that a ground wire had burnt out and they could take care of it. He thought this would take care of the problem so we turned around and went back. They continued to work, making new ground wire and putting things back together. Almost an hour and a half later (well past the 5pm closing time for the shop) the car was fixed. We were able to drive home Monday night and beat the storm that dumped 8" of snow on Tuesday. We can't thank Brian and the mechanics at Key Ford enough for working beyond closing time and helping us get home ahead of the snow!! THANK YOU BRIAN AND YOUR TEAM!!

I had my special needs son with me and while I was distracted, papers were put in front of me to sign. 3 of the papers were for 1) warranty 2)appearance protect 3) tire and wheel protect. I told the finance person that I didn't want anything that didn't come with the vehicle. Unknown to me, I ended up signing for them. This was done at closing on a Saturday. I emailed the finance guy and the salesman as soon as I got home and looked over the paperwork. I told them both that I never wanted them. On Monday morning I was told that the loan went through and the only thing they could do was refund my money for them. The money was never refunded. I plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau. I have emails and texts to back this up.
