Misleading Groupon--Single Process Color Was Only Root Touch-Up…read more My siste purchased a Groupon for a single-process hair color, wash, and blow-dry. In cosmetology, a single-process service means one all-over color, but the staff explained it was only a root touch-up. The wash and overall service also felt rushed and incomplete. If the salon cannot provide the full service at the Groupon price, it would be better to adjust or remove the offer so customers know exactly what to expect. While the staff were polite, the experience felt more focused on the coupon limitations than on delivering the promised service. I do want to thank the gentleman who kindly gave my sister a hair mask--it was probably the only part that felt truly worth the money. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but I believe it's important to share an honest account so others can make an informed decision.

The hair stylist was a very nice man, but I showed him a very specific picture of the style that I wanted. Long (to the collar bone) in the front, short (nape of the neck) in the back. The back is fine, but he cut it way too short in the front (above my shoulders) and gave me piecey bangs that I did not want. The photo was an asymmetrical lob and he gave me a traditional bob. Now I have to be annoyed all summer with short hair in my face that I can't pull back in a clip until this grows out in six months. Also, I was quoted one price on the phone, but when I got to the register it was $30 more than I had been quoted. I assume that was for the blow dry (which I said I did not want, but he told me he needed to do it to complete the cut/style). That means the blow dry is part of the cut and shouldn't be an added-on price. I was ready to walk out with wet hair so I wouldn't have to pay extra. The place was very clean and the shampoo was relaxing, but it wasn't worth the misery of a haircut that I did not want and had to overpay for. I will not be going back to this place in the future.

I had a Groupon when the first negative reviews popped up, but since there were positive ones too and an overall good rating I decided to give it a shot. Big mistake. This salon is a very no frills salon, which is fine if the stylist knows what they are doing. The guy who did my hair was teaching others which is absolutely frightening because this is the worse dye job I've gotten in my life. Firstly I asked him not the dye up to the root and he did. All in all it wasn't what I wanted but it didn't look bad when I was in the salon so I figured I'd give the new style a try. Then I stepped outside into the light- the entire thing had green-blue tints. Seriously, my hair was green. Apparently this is because he put ashy toner in my hair to pull out the warm tones in my hair without asking (which was a trend- barely any communication on what I wanted). First of all, I don't do ashy. It doesn't work with my skin. Secondly he bleached my hair so light the blonde pulled the blue / green tint. My hair wasn't even supposed to be blonde- I asked for a brown balayage. When it came time for my haircut he trimmed it in all of five minutes so it has that uneven grown out look hair gets BEFORE you get a haircut. I went back and he haphazardly put something on the super green pieces but didn't fix the whole thing. I ended up having to tone out the green at home. To add to it he didn't wash whatever he put in my hair properly so I ended up having to wash it out in a bar sink. Shortest lived blowout I've ever had. Now bad highlights are a hard fix already, but when I got home and looked in the mirror I found that the highlights were super patchy. I have SPOTS of bleach near my roots with gaps before the rest of the highlights begin. In multiple spots, which show when I pull my hair back so I can't even do that to hide my weird hair. I've managed to somewhat fix the weird tinge at home but I hate my hair and I've been crying all weekend. I don't trust the salon to fix it as they didn't even properly fix the green. I'm trying to find a master colorist to fix the mistake, and between that, my fixing at home, and this studio itself this has been a super costly mistake. Bottom line, I wish I'd never got my hair done. It was an outgrown balayage that I liked more before. I've never hated my hair so much. I'm afraid I'm going to head out on vacation with this mess if I can't find a better salon to fix it. Trying to figure out how to add pictures to my review so I can show what I'm talking about.

I also like that it is a one stop shop; they have hair services , laser hair removal, tanning, lashes, nails and even fillers. Ca, the owner, is very sweet and made my friend and I felt very welcomed since it was our first time there. The pedicure itself was very relaxing. Another woman (not Ca) did my pedicure and she was very thorough; she made sure to remove all the ingrown nails and cuticles and really took good care of my feet. The color I selected was beautiful and her paint job was impeccable. The prices are a bit steep since they do charge a credit card fee and service fee which is not super fair so expect to pay $48 for a gel pedicure without tip. I will see how long my pedicure lasts to see if it's worth paying $50 next time.
