D-A Tires has been my go-to for anything tire related for about a year now and I only have amazing things to say! I know absolutely nothing about cars, and both my sister and I have had so many tire issues and D-A Tires has helped us out every time. Even for my sister's tires recently, we thought she needed an alignment so we went to Wiygul first; they walked out, barely looked at the tires, and recommended new tires. They quoted her $800 for 4 new tires so we went to D-A Tires to check with them first. David was able to get us 4 new tires for a little over $450 for her car and even gave us recommendations for people to go to for an alignment. I called in and was quoted $75 to mount and balance two tires, with a witness hearing the conversation. When I arrived and had the tires replaced, the price suddenly changed to $150 at checkout. This business is dishonest and takes advantage of customers. I've already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and if this is how they operate, I wouldn't be surprised to see them go out of business soon! read more

This family owned business is one of the best in Alexandria. I'm a combat veteran who recently moved down to the D.C. area. When I just made it into town, my rim cracked & my tire began to leak air & became flat immediately. I had to rush back up to New York that same day, & the staff at Jose's, were nothing short of professional, fast, & fair. I came here to get a new tire and the service was wonderful and I felt like I really got lucky with the price. I really appreciated them being so transparent and patient with me because I don't know a lot about cars. I was able to come in and get help on a Saturday without an appointment when several other places I called were all booked or just didn't answer the phone. Omg where to begin. I got a screw in my tire and every franchise store was giving me estimates around $150-200. Im cute, not a dummy. So I looked for used tires and stumbled upon these gentleman. Not only were they knowledgeable, kind and attentive ~ they did not attempt to overcharge me for anything. I was given a flat price of $60 and they stuck to it. They even let me pick my tire. I walked across the street to plaza, had a drink at glory dayz and was called in an hour (there were 5 cars ahead of me) to come grab the car. I used Jose's Tires to get upgraded rims for my fiance's 2013 Toyota Corolla. The process was super smooth, quick and efficient. After getting the new rims, the tire pressure sensors failed. I went back to Jose's tires and they were able to find me new sensors and even gave me a discount for all the trouble went through after buying new rims. Big shout-out to David at Jose's Tires! Bought a used tire a few days ago and day later noticed a severe wobble in the drive. Guess what it was due to the tire just purchased. Went back a couple days later to Jose's and fortunately there was no wait and Jose himself changed the tire. He acknowledged it was a bad tire didn't give us any hassle in replacing it. Earlier this month, I was unfortunate enough to get two flat tires in one week. Went to Jose's both times and they quickly put a new used tire on at a very fair price. Both trips took less than 15 minutes. Had an issue with one of the tires, but I brought it back the next week and someone quickly fixed the problem at no cost! I recently had my car taken to Jose's Used Tires by a mechanic in Alexandria. I asked to have my tires replaced with good used tires. After I got my car back, I noticed immediately that one of them was losing air quickly. The mechanic was willing to repair that one for me free of charge. In the month since getting these tires, every single tire has proven to be a flat. I paid $300 to get used tires that were all defective. This was a complete waste of money and now I get to pay to patch all the tires. If I wanted patched tires, I would have kept the tires I had before. read more

I went to Jose's yesterday with one blown tire on a Ford Fusion. I was seen immediately, the man was very nice, and he quoted me $55 for the new-used tire and installation together. The new tire was a little worn, but the treads still looked safe and decent, and it was a 'used' tire and only 55 bucks for everything. He was done, and I was out of there in about 20 minutes. And he loaded my spare tire back into the trunk for me. And he made sure I didn't still have any warning lights flashing on my dash panel before I left. He did everything. I would definitely go back. As long as the new tire doesn't blow in like a week. In which case I'd update this. Jose's was great. They were quick and efficient, even on a Saturday. They charged me less than what I was quoted over the phone. I got the used tires I wanted (they were the only place in town that had them). I'm reserving that last star only because I would've liked if the tires had a bit more tread on them, but they work for my financial and vehicular situation. As far as used tires go, Jose's was great! I literally called about 7 different used tires locations looking for run flat tires for my BMW. Not only did they have them in stock but they were about $10 cheaper per tire than anyone else. They will let you thoroughly inspect the tire before installation. For installation, they put your vehicle up on their hydraulic lift then properly balance your tire before installing it. They were fine with me watching the whole installation process in the shop with them as well. I will be sure to give them a call in the future if I need tires again. read more

David gave me several options to remedy my punctured tire problem. We ultimately landed on plugging the flat tire an switching my full size never used spare tire onto the car and putting the repaired tire on the spare tire rim. All done in 30 minutes (no waiting) for $40 including mounting and balancing. Great experience. Will probably buy my new tires there in the future. read more
