I have eaten pizza here on several occasions and always been satisfied. The venue is occluded in a nice and friendly way. situated opposite the Universeum and the World Culture museums. If your idea of a good time is watching cars go by, there are a few tables on the outside. The name of the restaurant comes from Cyrano de Bergerac, the French writer noted as much for his extruded nose as his literary work. You can see monsieur de Bergerac's pointed profile displayed here and there in the restaurant.
Cyrano specializes in crisp and thin pizzas baked in a stone oven, and I just love them. They do have a full menu with meat and fish dishes all with a French touch, but I haven't tried the other courses yet.
Cyrano prides themselves with their own wine import and you should definitely try something from their small selection. The ones I have tried were excellent.
On the downside, Cyrano is a bit understaffed, so have some patience. Also, the surroundings is a bit of a letdown with a heavily trafficked road just outside. So a few times I actually took my pizza with me home... read more
