This place is huge - still totally full on a Monday night. I don't know if it was the beautiful spring weather making people hungry or if it is always full even on weekdays.
This is my new favourite spot. The food is amazing, the staff is amazing (every single one of them) and the decor is amazing. I so love this place!
The decor is rustic and rural yet hip. They toilettes downstairs are really cool.
It is pricy though. Like most great restaurants are nowadays.
We had the grill mix and I truly recommend it! If you would like to try their piglet (whole grilled) you need to be a party of six and you need to order 2 days in advance.
if you are picky about pink pork, do not order the pig that is fed on acorn. And also the burger is very pink, they most likely just scared it by the fire. And yes, meat is prepared and grilled on open fire! They have a dedicated grill master to take care of the burgers and meat - using a thermometer grill to perfection.
Pizzas are small but look good.
What I like about this place is that there are plenty of servers and chefs. I counted 4 doing the cooking and at least 5 waiters. And that, boys and girls, is not common in regular Swedish restaurants!
And if you go her you must try any of their cocktails! They are proud of them. The Bourbon Smash is served in a jar and very good. For both girls and boys. The pink Batida de Barabicu is good but slurped away too quickly.
On sunny days the outdoor area is perfect but be here early, it gets fully really quickly.
They accept AMEX. read more
