They are out in the middle of nowhere, but trust me, you won't mind a bit. Some of the best barbeque I've ever had. Good fresh corn on the cob. Wonderful sides, no matter what you pick it will be delicious! Great place to take family and friends. Family style food, family style service, in a family style setting. You will leave feeling fat and happy! P.S. Don't mind the heat in summer. They've got lots of ice cold beer to cool you down! read more

Hi everyone! Cyclone Corral is a nice out of the way BBQ joint. Here's an update. They have expanded to include indoor and outdoor seating. They are accepting credit cards. There is nice playground in the back for kids. The best item on the menu is the brisket nachos! read more

Do not miss an opportunity to visit the Cyclone Corral. The food is delicious, the drinks are cold, and the service is outstanding. Great for a family meal and a very unique venue for hosting small or large events. The owners are flexible and accommodating and truly made our last event a big success. A++ read more

What a cute place and nice friendly people. The seating is in large covered area outdoors. There are taxidermy decors in the entrance area and in the bathroom. There is also a 1950s style jukebox. The front entrance of the restaurant used to be a country store during the 1960s. My bf grew up in Temple and there were people who runs the restaurant that remembered him and his family....everyone was so nice. The bbq was so good. I loved the brisket best and the sides omg, really good baked beans, potato salad and corn. If you love family style all you can eat bbq, come and support this long time bbq icon restaurant. They are only open Fridays and Saturdays. Cash and check only. read more

Great barbecue, excellent service and fun atmosphere. Our family loves to eat here on the weekends.

If you're looking for a family style BBQ place, look no further! Make sure to bring cash for dinner. On the menu is all you can eat brisket, sausage, ribs, and sides of potato salad, coleslaw and beans. The food was delicious! I didn't take any pictures because we devoured it too quick. The staff were so courteous and attentive. We will definitely come back! read more

I went for a family gathering recently, and it was the first time I'd been back since I was a kid. The food was great - especially the ribs! It's a great spot for a big group, as the family-style service is fun. The staff was nice and really patient with our large group. read more

Never had a bad experience here! Every time the food is delicious. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Yesterday, even though it was so warm, once we got used to the environment it was quite pleasant. I hope this place is here for a long time to come!! read more

Lots of hype but not a lot to back it up!! My party of 8 ate for around $150. It's family style, which is cool, but only the initial order was quick. Second order was reasonably fast (it's all you can eat), but after that, the service went down hill. You sit there long enough & get full...which could be their plan? We were going to order dessert, but no one ever came (waitress even walked past & didn't even look our way.) Now to the food....it was good but I bet my party only got a total of a fourth of a brisket. They give you lots of sausage & a few ribs. The meat was average. We asked for just brisket & ribs on our last order, but still they put sausage on half the plate. The sides were tasty but nothing to write home about. Probably won't be back. A lot of people seem to love it, though, as the parking lot was packed. read more

5 stars for the unique location/ambience! Tucked away in the country, not visible from any road, but the address is navigable by maps. BBQ is served family style April thru October on Friday and Saturday only from 5:30-9pm. Come early, or some of the meat might be sold out! Sausage, ribs, and brisket are on the menu. The sausage is made fresh weekly by the local meat processor, Green's, with the black angus brisket trimmings and pork rib trimmings. The pinto beans are made from scratch. Their sauce has a unique flavor-slightly sweet/vinegar/smoky. Save room for peach cobbler w/Blue Bell vanilla ice cream. Beer in bottles served. They take cash and personal checks only, no ATM on site. Call in orders accepted. read more

Family style quality texas BBQ, friendly service, cold beer and awesome atmosphere. Not to be missed and definitely worth the drive. Its fixed price. Tasty ribs, thinly sliced brisket, and sausage for meats. BBQ beans, amazing Cole slaw, creamy potato salad for sides. Homemade bread and tangy BBQ sauce round it out. My wife and I were not disappointed... Except that they ran out of peach cobbler as we say down. Next time... read more

First time here, fairly new to Temple a few church patrons took me here on Friday evening and I liked the atmosphere outdoor/covered pavilion, though covered it was quite comfortable not as hot as one would think especially in the Texas summer HEAT. This a all you can eat type restaurant 14.50 + beverage +dessert and the only option is peach cobbler a- la-mode. The owners and wait staff were all very friendly and they kept the BBQ coming. Country music Walling and Jennings and the boy's playing on the jukebox To coin an old country expression " I was full as a tick" when we left. Just a grt out if the way establishment to go with family and friends. The BBQ was very good ; brisket links and pork ribs are the only meat. Sides include potato salad, Cole slaw baked beans, and corn in the cob. Again all you can eat. I am a small guy , But I have an appetite that of a elephant and I certainly got my fill. read more

This is the second time a group of us road down on a HOT summer's evening of great food and friendship. The ribs were delicious, the sausage tasty and the brisket wasjust as good. After filling ourselves on seconds and thirds we topped it all off with peach cobbler and ice cream. The only drawback was the high temperature (96 degrees), but other than that it is definitely worth the price read more

Family style all you can eat! What more could anyone ask for? Always dependable quality food. The peach cobbler with ice cream is also great. read more

Service is very slow and they ran out of ribs. Good BBQ if you have time to wait and don't mind paying for all you can eat but only get one rib. read more

We arrived at 7 pm and were seated promptly. The restaurant opened at 5:30 pm. When we were seated, the hostesss did not inform us that there were limited ribs left. Our party of 6 was served 4 ribs. When we requested more ribs,we were then told that they were out and had no more. The main purpose of our visit was to allow our out of state friends from Florida and Massachusetts to experience delicious Texas ribs. Unfortunately 2 in our party did not even get to taste the ribs!! I understand that Cyclone is open until they no longer have meat to serve but.....ribs are a staple in this country style serving method and it was only 1.5 hours since they had opened! Sad...sad...sad...especially because it was communicated that it was something that we should just accept. read more
