Reviewing after my first visit... so far so good…read more I was a little underwhelmed when I first checked in. After saying it was my first visit, I didn't receive a "Welcome" or "That's great"... instead, the less than enthusiastic staff member barked "name?" I was handed my key tag and nothing else was said. First impressions are everything. Didn't get a great first impression. So, I apparently was ON MY OWN to figure out everything. Since I came with my 2 little kids so I made my way over to the childcare area. Children's check in went fairly well. The area was somewhat divided by ages. As I could tell, there were, maybe, 3 staff in there. Not overly crowded with kids (around 9:30am). Since I didn't receive a gym tour, I decided to just look around myself. (I later mentioned this to my friend who also comes here and she said you have to ASK to get a tour- every other gym I've been to, they do it automatically. But, like me, she also felt a little underwhelmed her first visit due to this.) There is plenty of equipment in this gym. Bonus, it all appears new and in working order! There was a class going on in the middle of the gym. The instructing was a bit loud and a tad distracting. I had my earbuds in with my volume up and I could still hear the class clear as day. Gym looked clean. There was a worker going around cleaning and emptying trash cans. (I didn't go into the locker room today so I can't comment on them). Crunch appears to be well staffed. Besides the non-so-warm greeting, there were at least a number of workers through the club. Packages: I opted for the "Peak Results" package, which is $29.99/month. This is the one you need if you require childcare. You also get: unlimited classes, tanning, sunless tanning, "camp crunch"?, and hydromassage. My husband signed up for the base package for $9.99/month. He basically just needed access to cardio and weights. I liked that this was an OPEN AGREEMENT as I HATE having to sign contracts. I'm looking forward to becoming a regular at this club... not just to get in shape more, but for my mental health as well. Even having an hour or so away from my kiddos will do wonders for the soul! Giving a 4-star so far with the potential to grow. A knock out greeting, first visit tour and a little enthusiasm from the desk staff would have resulted in a solid 5-star first visit. Ah well.

The other reviews don't really do this gym justice. This gym offers ALOT and is way bigger than I…read moreexpected. The gym has two floors, bottom has free weights, squat racks, machines, cables, etc.. Second floor is all for cardio like treadmills, ellipticals, they even have a boxing room. The first floor also has a smoothie bar an sell select supplements. I would say this is a classic gym with iron plates and a excellent variety of machines. The only downfall are the dumbbells. I wanna say they are Troy brand but almost all of them have loose bolts making the weights shaky. Many of the number tags are gone An hard to identify the weight. If they could get that fixed they would be 5 stars no doubt. I was told their brother gym on the north side has better dumbbells. On a side note they're plenty of places to eat at an Arms reach. Chick fil a, thia food, and a sandwich shop are right next door.

Update The worst customer service when it came to ending my membership. Spoke to a delightful lady who proceeded to tell me that no matter what I did and said I was in the wrong after I emailed to cancel my membership and she told me that they had 30 days to charge me and they did so on my last day. So I called cooperate and my bank and stopped payment. I will never go to this gym again and will not ever endorse it either. The place is horrible the female manager has such a piss poor attitude and self serving tone that even if she was fired I wouldn't go to this gym.
