Love this place! It's part of my weekly routine. Down to earth instructors who want to actually get to know you outside of class. Gaby's playlists are legit the best. The software and app for tracking your progress is great - class rank, calories, and power points so you can compare to yourself or the class. 40 bikes with plenty of room - where you can be seen in the front or hide in the back depending on your style. The stadium seating really helps everyone see the instructor. State of the art sound system is loud and really helps the experience (especially when you compare to other studios). Shoe rental is free and there's good availability of sizes, I've never had an issue. I do wish they had more retail available. I think that's the one area they're really missing out on. They celebrate birthdays, ride milestones, gender reveals like no other! Highly recommend if you're in the area for a class. Your first one is free! read more

I've been to a ton of spin classes before, this was by far the BEST experience I've ever had. The space is clean and inviting, the bikes are well maintained, and plenty of shoes to rent for the ride if needed. Those are the boring basics. The ride itself was so good, so hard and so very satisfying I feel like I cant do it justice in a review. Instructor was high energy and fun, music was great, the room was dark enough to completely lose yourself in the ride, become completely focused, and kick the rides ass, despite having 40 other people in the room. They also turn it into a full body workout which is challenging and rewarding once you get the hang of it. I wish this place was closer, because I would be in for every class possible. Classes were fine. The manager and owner, Zack and Alan, are an absolute nightmare. Do not sign up if you ever think you might cancel!!! I found out I was pregnant shortly after signing up for a monthly membership and originally requested to freeze and purchase class packs instead. No response from them. Given the lack of handling the situation, I decided to cancel altogether, giving more than the required one months' notice, and eating the remaining one month cost that I didn't use due to travel. They charged me again the following month and it took an additional 2 weeks for Alan to agree to refund the charge, promising to call me to ensure everything was sorted. He never called (all of this happened over email as they refuse to get on the phone). I was charged again this month, despite trying now for three months to cancel. THIS PLACE IS SHADY AF. read more

Purchased some rides but moved before I was able to use all them. Apparently none of the Cyclebar's are connected so I can't use them at a location closer to me. Asked for a refund but was told they don't do that but if I'm ever in the area I can stop by which is less than helpful. Shame that things are run like this because the people in the building were great when I was there. read more

Went to a country themed cycle class at the end of April. The front desk people were super helpful and made us feel comfortable our first time at the studio. I liked that the system keeps track of everyone's performance, but wish it showed on the screen more. The class was pretty empty so I think the screen would have helped motivate us. We ended up sitting on the wrong bikes so the instructor kept calling us the wrong names, whoops! Four stars because it's pretty pricy. I don't think I'd go back unless they were running a sale. read more

Sad that I have to write this review as I did love attending the classes however the issue arose when trying to cancel my membership. Allen the owner only cares about money and chose to ignore my multiple emails, calls, and texts in order to try and charge me a late fee. Even the front desk girls agree with me that Allen is unresponsive and rude and sneaky. Clearly he does not care about maintaining customers and only cares about money. Was still going to drop in for the occasional class but now I don't want to spend anymore money here. Only join if you never plan on leaving or you will be locked into a membership and charged late fees even though you asked many times to cancel. read more

I'd heard a lot about Cyclebar and finally decided to check them out one week during a promotion period where they were offering free classes with giveaways courtesy of other local businesses in the West Hartford area. And I get the hype. Not only is the studio run by plenty of energetic, passionate instructors, but the place's thoughtful touches truly provide you with a quality riding experience. The experience from start to finish is seamless. Everything is top-notch, brand-new and shiny. From the motivational quotes sprawled across the lockers to the plethora of feminine care products proffered in the restrooms to the shoe bin where students can easily dispose of their shoes post-workout, there's nothing more a cycle enthusiast could possibly want. I particularly liked the addition of an arms segment during my classes which was made possible courtesy of the expertly hidden weighted bar tucked beside the bike! The bikes themselves are also very new and well-made, with digitized metrics and a resistance lever that is actually user friendly--extra reason to pull the plug and sign up for a membership. The only downside to cycling here is the parking fees, an unfortunate consequence of taking residence in the Blue Back Area. If I'm already paying a good chunk of change for classes, I'd rather not shell out extra just to park my car during a workout. Still, Cyclebar has forever changed my relationship with the sport and will now be the standard I expect at other cycling studios I try! read more

This place is amazing!! I went for a birthday gift with a friend. The staff were incredibly welcoming - helped me get checked in and find my locker. They had decorated our locker to make us feel a part of the community. I took a Connect class - phenomenal! The energy was great! They had the lights turned down and it wasn't about a leader board, but connecting with the music and challenging yourself. The instructor was great and took time after the class to connect with me and my friend. If only it wasn't so far away (almost 45 minute drive) I would definitely come back. One of my favorite places ever! Was introduced to CycleBar & this location from a great friend and I never looked back. Signed up right away and have stuck around for over a year now! All of the instructors and staff are friendly and accommodating! As an active person, I look forward to my spin classes here because of the environment, the instructors and the EXPERIENCE. So much so, CycleBar helped me host a charity ride. This studio is super clean, the staff is pleasant and inviting, and the workout kicks my butt every time. All the coaches are amazing, and each of them provides their own unique cycling experience. The music is always motivating, and sometimes I'm having so much fun- I find myself forgetting I'm working out. A nice perk here: they provide cycle shoes which 100% changes the feel of cycling. I had been used to wearing my sneakers at past studios. Wearing actual cycle shoes feels 10x better since you clip into the bike with them. Check them out! read more

Cyclebar is a gem of a spin studio! The staff and instructors are extremely friendly and encouraging and each bring their own style and flavor to every class. The classes themselves really motivate you to be your best self with amazing playlists and positive mantras. The studio encourages fun with "wine down Wednesday" and this month they are even running a Bingo game to win prizes. The theme rides are super entertaining. I can't recommend this place enough. I enjoyed Cyclebar last year when my company had a couple of group rides. i bought a 20 pack of rides and unfortunately due to the pandemic, I was only able to use 9 or 10 out of 20 of those rides. The rides have been removed from my account. I left the Bernardsville studio a couple of voicemails and sent them an email requesting a refund or a credit. No one has gotten back to me. Additionally no one has gotten back to me about removing my credit card information from my account. I am very disappointed. read more
