Stopped in to look for a motorcycle jacket four the man and found most of the people to be fairly friendly working. The selection is fairly decent. I did get helped by a nice young man who showed me the jackets that come in 2XL. I asked him if he was sure that that was a genuine 2x because it didn't look that large to me and he assured me that it was. Unfortunately we both headed to the counter to make my purchase and there was another guy wandering around who interrupted and asked for tires in the kid who was helping me literally just walked away from me and went over to the tire place for 10 minutes while I stood there at the counter waiting. Another guy came over and said sorry but he is the tire guy so you'll have to wait. What? Anyway I get home and turns out the 2X is not really a 2X even though it says to ask on the label. He tried to bring it back but without the original credit card they wouldn't give him a refund nor would they even exchange it which makes no sense to me. I had left the actual receipt in the pocket so he had the physical receipt and it was only two days later but they wouldn't do anything unless he went back home which is 45 minute drive each way and came and got my credit card and brought it back to them. These two things probably should've deducted two stars but I hate to give them only three because I know everybody is trying in Covid. Those two things will make me buy online rather than come back to the store but for you people who like to put your hands on stuff before you buy it this would be a good option. read more

No stock, no knowledge, no service, no advice...... I've given Cycle Gear multiple chances, and the experience is the same every time. Whatever you're looking for, it's not in stock. Ask about availability and you get a shrug. This is supposed to be a motorcycle gear store instead the shelves are half-empty and the answer to everything is "we'd have to order that." Worse than the inventory is the staff. There seems to be zero product training and zero customer service training. Employees often have no clue what you're describing, even for basic gear. Ask about a RevZilla order ... their own sister company ... or whether an item can be transferred to another store, and you get blank stares. Nobody knows how their own system works. If a company puts people on the floor of a specialty store, they should at least know the products and the basics of helping a customer. Right now, the staff would honestly be a better fit stocking shelves at a big-box store than advising riders on gear that their safety depends on. Until Cycle Gear invests in inventory and actual training, save yourself the trip and order online. read more

Stopped by during our visit with our sailor at Mayport Naval Base. We were not greeted at the door, nor approached for any assistance while perusing. While there, another customer had to come up to the cash register, where their workers were just standing around and gabbing to ask for assistance with helmets for his daughter. If it were me, I would have just left; why beg for assistance? I have been to another cycle gear in Orlando, which seemed a bit more geared towards off road bikers and this place also seemed to be lacking in the way of gear for touring and definitely did not have a lot of options in pants for their smaller patrons. I would say don't waste your time. read more

This is a motorcycle store primarily geared more toward the racing enthusiast instead of the cruising. They have a very large selection of helmets, protective clothing, and just about everything else you can think of in regards to motorcycle racing. Prices are comparable to other name brand places, but they do have very good sales if you keep your eyes open. read more

I've gone to this location for years. Here recently I have had a terrible experience the last two times I've been. Most of the employees are just flat out rude. I would rather drive the extra 20 minutes to go to a different location to have good customer service. read more

Just a word of wisdom that I learned... Speak in CLEAR sentences when on the phone. Apparently asking about changing a 12" tire AND needing a tube for said tire isn't enough to warn the person on the phone that you in fact have a 12 INCH tire to be changed... The lowest size they can change is a 14"!!! So after calling and asking and then driving 40 minutes in order to surprise my Son that he can ride this weekend. I get asked at the door "what size are those"? I answer 12's to be told nope can't do it. I used to frequent Cycle gear. Well it looks like I will have to utilize Amazon and the shitty dealer on Blanding who I hate almost as much as having my time wasted. Meh it's all good. I will take my business elsewhere. the guys in this store are great. they address everyone needs if they can, and offer great advice. I have been in the more then a few times and I don't see why I need to go to another store for gear. the best part, you can order online and return in store if need be. this is an excellent option, eventhough I have yet to return anything, knowing the ease in the process is nice. read more

As always friendly staff at every CG. Layout between the CG stores are the same, just this location have the benefit of more square footage to have elbow room and actually have a transition between dirt & street gear, tires and chemicals. They hold Bike Night on a regular basis, great spacious parking lot. read more

Staff here seems to mostly stand around instead of helping with problems at hand. Typically suggest more expensive, as well as unnecessary services and applies them to the purchase. When taking a tire purchased from them as well as all the services to just get the tire ready their standard is 24 hours. From reviews of other cycle gears customers have gone in and come out 30 minutes to an hour. I will look for another place to purchase my motorcycle gear from in the future. read more
