He made up some BS about he could see that the car had previous been in an accident which is why the bumper won't fit back on the car. The car has never been in an accident and has a clean vehicle history report. Regardless of that, I've owned the car now 4 years, never had an issue with the bumper until Pep Boys worked on it. When I explained that to him and the manager and that bottom line is that when I brought the car in the bumper was seated properly and after they worked on it the bumper no longer sits properly on the vehicle. All I got were blank stares. Not even an apology. The technician had the gall to ask but does the AC work, and when I said the AC was fine that the issue was the bumper he said I don't do body work, I work on AC and did my job. Then he tried convincing me to buy bumper clips to hold my bumper on. I was speechless. You wouldn't think a company like pep boys would hire such losers who would actually make up total lies to explain away their incompetence and shoddy work. STAY AWAY !! Watched them take the truck in at 3:34 PM and pull it back out and park it at exactly 4:34 PM. Exactly an hour on the dot. They charged me for 1.5 hours. I drove home and my front left wheel center cap was missing... They didn't put it back on correctly and it came off on the drive home. Oh yeah, and the woman who worked the counter was extremely rude when I first came in. She even wrote up my information on a used slip and scribbled out the one that was already filled out.. with pen.. She didn't bother to grab a new slip. I had made an appointment and when I came in, she acted like she had no idea that I was coming in and gave me an attitude about it. Very unprofessional.
