At 5:17 PM, I finally received a diagnostic video. They then told me the computer couldn't be repaired and the only option was a new motherboard costing over $800. Immediately after, they tried to sell me a brand‑new HP and quoted just over $1,200 including a data transfer. (I had already backed up everything to OneDrive, so the data transfer was unnecessary), and they were going to charge me for it. When I picked up my computer today, the person admitted he never reached out, never provided progress updates, and was not transparent that the diagnostic wasn't completed within the timeframe. The missed deadlines, lack of communication, upselling, and attempt to charge for services I didn't need left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. I cannot recommend Easy IT based on this experience.
