Finding unique independent book stores is my jam! So I of course found three used books to take home with me and a sequel "The Book woman's Daughter" Exciting! Milaca Unclaimed Freight did me dirty today. I was traveling from point A in the Twin Cities to…read morepoint B in central Minnesota and happened to take 169. It was a Saturday morning so I made a large tumbler full of iced coffee before I hit the road. About an hour into the drive my bladder decided to go ding ding ding. I knew Milaca Unclaimed Freight was just ahead so I thought I'd stop in to use the restroom. Biggest mistake of the day! After using the restroom I decided to walk up and down the aisles. And boy did they have deals. I happened to be in the holiday home decor section and my hands were full. There was a lady standing next to me and I mentioned to her that I should have grabbed a cart. She responded with "you always grab a cart". So I went and grabbed a cart and put my selections in the basket. I kept running into her in the other aisles. And every time I saw her she was interested in what I added to the basket. She was fun, nice lady. I got stuff for the house. I got stuff for work. And I guess I started my Christmas shopping today too. The grand total was just under $200. That was an expensive rest stop. Dang coffee bladder!

They charged me $250.00 to return the defective glasses. They also got my wife's contact lens prescription wrong. Trust me. You don't want to go here. The owner sent me a response saying to contact the office manager. I already did that. Whitney, the office manager, was rude and would not refund my money despite the fact that I could not see out of the glasses they gave me. I already have terrible vision, but to have an eye clinic bungle a prescription so badly is beyond excuse. My wife plans to pick up her defective glasses, and then take the frame elsewhere to get a prescription that actually works. Go elsewhere for services. They won't care if you aren't satisfied.
