We had an electrical emergency first thing on Friday morning. I had power to the entire house except for the kitchen. I attempted the usual fixes, i.e. check the GFCI outlet and all the breakers, but no joy, I spent a good part of the rest of the day checking the power panel and sockets to see where the power fell out. I finally gave up about 2pm and called CWS. Jackie was very helpful, and apologized that all the techs were out and they wouldn't be able to get to us until Monday. As soon as I explained our kitchen was the issue, she asked me to hold and spoke to the manager to see if they could work something out. Jackie said they had techs that should have been done soon, and she gave me a name and last 4 of his number and said he would call when he was on his way. About 20 minutes later I got a call from a Tech named David Rios. (who had been on his way home to watch his sons first ballgame of the season) He told me that he he was not in a company truck, but he was in the area, so he had taken the call from the original tech to hopefully get us back up and running a bit sooner David was in his personal truck, wearing a mask, and reintroduced himself. I introduced myself and proceeded to let him know what had happened and what I had done so far, and he took it from there. He was very knowledgeable and extremely professional, (he always addressed me as Mr.) He moved from task to task troubleshooting the issue until he narrowed down the problem, then went proceeded to fix it. Although it was getting late, and he was missing his sons game, he never rushed his job. Once the issue was resolved, he made sure we knew what had caused the problem, what he had done to fix it, and made sure we didn't have any question. He never made us feel as though he was in a hurry to leave. If all of their Technicians are like David Rios, I don't think you could call anyone better than CSW Services for any of your electrical needs. I will definitely use them again if needed. read more

CWS Services responded promptly to our request to have one of our garage circuit breakers replaces after a particularly strong thunderstorm. Having had experienced less than timely work from another electrician in the area for some different work, we were prepared to have to wait up to a week after talking to the receptionist. I got a call from Juan in minutes who asked if the next day in the morning was fine, and of course it was! Juan and Chris arrived at our property in Copperas Cove and quickly replaced the circuit breaker in the garage that provided power to our pool and pergola patio lighting. They checked the GFCIs for both the pool and pergola lighting and replaced those since they had burned out, very apparent to even me when they did not reset properly. The GFCI for the pool lighting required some drilling out of a rusted machine screw, all during less than optimal conditions (it was raining!). Finally, they identified and replaced a burned out GFCI at the pergola and replaced it, but they also brought to my attention the incorrect and dangerous rewiring the previous owner must have done that bypassed the faulty GFCI and had another outlet directly wired, potentially lethal to any of us plugging something in while wet from the pool. Juan and Chris also pointed out some incorrect installation by the previous owner of some electrical outlets that can defer to another day, but definitely have my attention for replacement. Juan and Chris got all of this done, much of it in the rain, in about n hour. The service charge was more than reasonable as was the parts and direct labor. We cannot speak more highly of or recommend more the superb and timely service from CWS by Juan and Chris! read more

I called CWS on Columbus Day to request them to come out and repair an electrical issue I was having with my detached garage. I was surprised when I actually reach a live human being on a federal holiday. Juan called me up within the hour and scheduled me for an appointment for Wednesday of that same week. That was much faster than I had anticipated and they quickly and easily repaired a bad breaker that I had overloaded. This is the second job that Juan and Kyle have done for me. The first was to install an underground power line from the house to my new hot tub. Even the spa installers commented on what a great job they did. Both technicians were very courteous, efficient, and the cost was very reasonable (best of 4 estimates). I had called 3 other electricians in the area and they were either very slow to respond (more than a week), over-priced, didn't show at all, didn't display much interest and........ even had one use profanity on several occasions while discussing the project (not that I'm a saint - but jeez, where's the customer service?) Our A/C wasn't cooling and we discovered it was our outdoor fan motor just by looking at it. Nathan answered the after-hours call the first ring and although it was 11:30pm, he said he could be there first thing in the morning at 7am! It was also a Saturday, so I was very impressed at how available he was with such short notice. He quoted me over the phone and because it was the exact thing we needed, we were able to stick with that quote. He was on time (even a few minutes early) and texted me when he was on his way so we could be ready. He did a full inspection just to be sure it was indeed the fan motor and had it replaced within just a few minutes. It was also fun to talk with him, since we've only been here about a year and he grew up in the Killeen area - he told us all about our neighborhood and was so patient with my questions. He even gave us tips to keep our unit running more efficiently and longer, instead of trying to sell us more stuff. Here we are a month later and our A/C is working like a dream. I recently purchased a home and wanted an HVAC professional to come and inspect my system to see if it is prepared for a Texas Summer as I've heard they can be brutal. I asked for a quote and got one back within 20 min through yelp, and then a phone call first thing in the morning on the next day. The technician I spoke with was very nice and was able to swing by my house the same afternoon which was great! He arrived on time, and got right to work. From the first minute he walked into my house, I felt like I was in good hands. He was professional in every way, through his knowledge of my heater and A/C, government regulations that were pertinent to my system, and his ability to explain the workings of my system in a language that I understand. He was honest and told me some tips and tricks to look out for going forward into the summer. He even quoted me on several options I can use if I choose to upgrade my system in the future (its very old). Brutal heat this summer and my a/c was unable to keep up. Called CWS and spoke to Willie and instead of just sending someone out he asked about the problem and suggested it might just be a dirty air filter. So I said I would put in a fresh one and see if that fixed it. It helped a little but I called back the next day and then he sent John and another guy. They came when they said they would and found the refrigerant was low, checked the coil in the attic unit, hosed out the "radiator" in the compressor unit, and tracked the problem down to a very slight leak at a valve joint connection, tightened it up and recharged the refrigerant. All they charged was for the service call and a couple of pounds of refrigerant. Some companies would never have first suggested a possible fix I could do myself and might have just assumed the coil needed replacing and done that first. I am very pleased with their helpfulness, expertise, and honesty. I highly recommend them. read more

this is about as good as it gets with electrical services in the Killeen area. Has some floor sockets that desperately needed repair as soon as possible. One call to CWS and I received a return call from Juan within half an hour to schedule my appointment within three hours. Juan and Zach showed up promptly at the agreed time, and went to work on the problem. My repairs was done and the sockets looked great and had new permanent covers that fit flush with the floor. These were two professional, knowledgeable and great young men. I plan to request them for all future projects. Do not need to search anymore for electrical services. Top notch, very, very, highly recommended, included my military discount for services without me asking for it. Customer service and quality of service is very important. I have found the company that I will use for all future needs that fall into their area of expertise!! I called about my A/C, and the gentleman who answered the phone said, "I am on my way to your location right now." Within half an hour Jonathan and Steven were at my house ready to go to work. Very professional and got the A/C repaired quickly. They fixed some things that were not directly related to the issue at hand, and gave me some advice on how to lengthen the life and efficiency of my A/C unit. They pointed out some things that are worn but don't need immediate attention; so, I will keep an eye on those things and have them come back in a month. I had both condenser and evaporator (inside and outside) units replaced by CWS after speaking with Chris on my 14-year-old AC unit which he came out to repair. Spending thousands of dollars on anything is not easy unless you are convinced, you're going to get a fair deal and good craftmanship. I received a fair deal and Chris and Aron quality of work was outstanding, I appreciate their attention to details on ever task required during installation and outstanding attitude. Got home and the temperature in my house was on 83 (I normally keep it on 81 cause I don't like a lot of air. This was unusual because I couldn't figure out why it went up to 83. I left out and came back......87 degrees and climbing! Of course the worst thoughts came to mind(air conditioner unit gone out). I called CWS and the service technician was at my house in probably 10 or 15 minutes. Thank God it was only a small part that needed replacing. The technician Kenny did a fantastic job replacing the part in prompt time and he was very kind in explaining everything to me about what he was doing and about the part he was replacing. AC went out at 5:15 on Saturday afternoon. Temp outside was 102 degrees. I checked and saw that the condenser fan outside was buzzing but not moving. I called several service companies, all highly rated on both Yelp and google. CWS was the 3rd call and first to answer. Jonathan told me he'd be by my house in 30 minutes. 25 minutes later he pulled in, made an inspection, and immediately found the problem (bad capacitor.) Jonathan repaired it within 10 minutes, including checking freon level. While he worked we chatted, and he is as friendly as he is knowledgeable. CWS Services came out to our office to diagnose a failed A/C unit within half an hour of being called. The technician was extremely professional and identified the issue within 20 minutes (compressor blew and also damaged the refrigerant lines in the process). I agreed to the proposal to replace the entire system as it was over twenty years old anyway, but they were not pushy about it. Plus the price was unbeatable! They showed up the very next business day and had both inside unit, outside unit, new lines and upgraded smart thermostat installed in less than 3 hours! I called on Monday, had an appointment Thursday, both Juan and Chris came out at the promised time. Things are looking good. requested an estimate on line on a Thursday to install a 50 amp RV outlet. They called me within 2 hours and arrived at my house 30 minutes later to give me an estimate. I felt their estimate was very reasonable. they did the work on Tuesday which was the first date we were available to let them do the work. They did call that morning to let us know they would be about twenty minutes late of the scheduled time. Even though it was only a short delay it was very professional of them to call anyway.
