I just had a great experience at the photo counter out of what could've been a bad experience. I…read moreordered my prints online through Snapfish and thought that they were going to be able to be picked up at this location. Upon arriving, half of my prints went through and the other half did not. The Walgreens associate that helped me out was so nice. They assisted in helping me locate how to find these photos and eventually helping me sit down and order them at the little kiosk in the store. Then as soon as I was waiting for them and wandering down isles, thinking I would buy useless things to waste time, the associate came and let me know my photos were ready. They let me look at them beforehand and I am just so grateful to have such a nice, warm human sympathize and be willing to help out. Best experience at a Walgreens yet! All because of that one person!

Their parking lot also is always covered in trash, and the trashcan overflowing with garbage and blowing down the street. WHOA! that was a really long time ago and for it to have remained in my brain that long it must be a great place. There were no chains so you really got to know your local pharmacist. My experiences with Mr. Pepper in the 60s , 70s and early 80s were very good ones. Back in the 60's when your child walked everywhere it was common to send your 8 year old child to pick up prescriptions, greeting cards, pain relievers Bandages ( We had 10 kids) and various sundries. Also, we i suspect a few times our family account might've been in slight arrears in those days but the beauty of this being a true mom and pop was that things were always resolved in a friendly, neighborly way. Fast forward to the 90s and 2000s and I'm not sure if it's still totally in the Pepper family still but my interactions with them as an adult have been pleasant and efficient. Just the other day an elderly friend of mine got turned away from a chain when she showed up for an appointment for her booster because they were overbooked. I got her in the car and I drove her to Pepper's because Pepper's is in her neighborhood. They were kind, caring, respectful toward her and happy to have her business. Try getting that at a Chain. Over a half century after my first experience with Pepper Pharmacy I continue to see That's its still a vital part of the Lansdowne and Upper Darby communities. This was one of the worst experiences at a Walmart I have ever had!…read more Our nonprofit organization for over 20 years has taken families in need to Walmart during the holiday season to purchase needed items including food, clothes and toys etc. Today, December 13th was no different except for the treatment I received from this Walmart. I tried to call management the morning of our event to inform them that we would be coming to their site by 10:00 AM to pay for the goods for families. However, there was no answer after repeated phone calls to the store, so I got to the Walmart early to meet with the manager. When I got there the first manager informed me that I needed to have contact them first, I explained that I had tried. Later, I explained this same info to the front store manager . The front store manager asked her Asset Manager , to escort me out of the store while we had families who had children with disabilities in line waiting for us to pay for their goods. These so called professionals exhibited behaviors that were unnecessary, unprofessional and lacked the values of Walmart which according to their website is based on fairness and respect. Not to mention the people in charge demonstrated lack of good judgment. I had spent over $2000.00 in gift cards for families and certainly feel I and the families should have been treated better.

And I see that Yelp still lists this store as being open 24/7. Unfortunately, they recently changed their hours. The pharmacy now closes at 10 pm, and the store closes at midnight. The cashier at the front of the store told me this change is because of retail theft that they had experienced in the overnight hours. Still, this closing time is quite late compared to other stores. It is a nice option to keep in mind if you need to buy something at night. I arrived at the pharmacy about ten minutes before they closed and requested a prescription refill. Ismean made sure my prescription was filled before closing. Alex found a couple of items in the store for me that I needed. They helped me get in and out of the store in ten minutes. I will miss this store being open 24/7, but I am pleased they are still open later than the other close options.

I ordered: Cheeseburger Platter with French Fries -- $5.50 Chicken Nugget Platter with French Fries -- $5.50 3 Chicken Wings -- $3.75 My order came to $14.75 and I also purchased two TastyKake products at $1.00 each and a bag of potato chips at $1.89 The cheeseburger platter was delicious even though the burger was larger than the bun it was on. They didn't use a frozen burger. The French Fries were not fried too hard. My son loved his chicken nugget platter, except they forgot his honey mustard on the side. The chicken wings were another story. They were rubbery and hard to pull apart to eat. They didn't look right. I'll stick to getting my chicken wings from Asian Cuisine near my mother's house. My son and I agreed that we would return if we every got hungry super late at night. This place is apparently open 24 hours. It's in the hood, so be careful.
