The pharmacy has horrible customer service. They not only lack professionalism but they also lack empathy and compassion. The shorter lady with black hair at pick up clearly could care less. I was there with my sick baby after urgent care. I needed to pick up his prescription. The lady at pick didn't even acknowledge me at first. Someone from the back assured me someone* would help me shortly. After ignoring me the pick up person calls me up to the counter. No hello. No how can I help you. No eye contact. Nothing.Just a "what's the last name?". I give her my baby's last name and DOB. She then asks if his first initial is J. I say yes and give her my baby's first name. I tell her kaiser's urgent care doctor just sent the prescription. She cuts me off and says we don't accept kaiser here. I tell her "yes you do because I have picked up my prescriptions and the baby's prescription from here before ". She tells me they don't accept kaiser and they're getting ready to close anyway. I was there at 12:15 .she tells me they don't have anything for my baby (I don't think she even looked it up)and reminds me they're going to close . She then walks away from me (and my sick baby) (For those that don't know: you can have your kaiser prescriptions filled at cvs as long as your doctor sends the prescription to them. Insurance won't cover it and you will have to pay out of pocket for it but they can be filled at cvs) The person in the back then tells me to call the doctor. So I call and confirm the prescription was sent to the right cvs. I get back in line and after a few minutes I'm told they're closing for lunch anyway and I'd have to wait. They start pulling down the metal cover as they're telling me. I understand and respect when someone needs to take lunch.I didn't know when they closed for lunch and if they told me from the beginning they were closing for lunch, I would've just went back later)I don't mind waiting for a prescription either. I've worked in the medical field. I get it. I expect to wait. Treating people like a disturbance and being rude is not okay. Being short with customers is not acceptable either. People just want to get their medication and be treated with dignity. read more

Why have a drive through pharmacy if you can't staff it properly? Cvs really needs to step it up with staff and customer service. I literally waited 20 minutes in the drive thru. I will definitely be calling whoever I need to, to make a much larger complaint, the Latina woman (and by the way I'm Latina myself my parents are immigrants so definitely have no issues with Latinos?!?) but the Latina woman who works here I didn't get her name , she has light brown hair and glasses, has been definitely stealing every extra bucks reward coupon every single time I come here for years loool, not even funny tho. finally I decided to speak up for myself because math was just so obviously wrong my total is 61,I had $12 in extra bucks rewards, and she brings the total down to 58 when obviously the total should at the very least be $10 less 51 , if I have $12 in extra bucks rewards, but then on top of that I had other coupons so it really should've been well under 45, This all just happened 10 minutes ago so keep in mind I definitely am very accurate with my numbers the difference of what I was expecting for what it was, was so ridiculous that I had to speak up. i'm arguing with this woman who is so obviously wrong as you and instead of just apologizing and fixing it she wants to argue with me, so I asked for her coworker (Angel, a young man he was amazing) to do it for me instead , return everything and do it all over again and the coworker brings mevdown to a total of 37 !!!!!I'm completely fucking mind blown!!!! this woman is really trying to steal $20 from me!! On my way home from the office, my wife needed a prescription filled. I was is no mood to stop by Kaiser and wait. I went to this CVS not far from my home to get it filled. The pharmacy tech tells me they don't have it in stock but I could pick it up tomorrow. Great. I ask them to call when the prescription in filled. They never called. I went there and the prescription was ready. Unfortunately when I got home it was the wrong medicine they gave me. First off the pharmacist checks the script and then the tech double checks or the other way around. How do you give someone the Fucking wrong prescription. I should report you monkeys to the FDA. This is the worst CVS I've been to. Almost every time I go there there's a problem. It seems that is getting worse (if that's possible). Last time I was there, the store was empty. There were two cashiers, one new, in training (she was very nice) and another one that looked that she didn't want to be there at all. I waited in line for over 15 minutes with only one person in front that was being helped by the new cashier. The other cashier was walking back and forth and writing something down, so, not helping the customers. I can't wait until this CVS is closed or it's under new management. Even though this CVS is a few blocks away I stopped coming here some time ago. They are constantly out or low on stock on seemingly everything; legit looks like they're going out of business. Their staff all look pained to be there, as if you are bothering them asking a simple question or for help. Today I had to run out quick to get a few bottles of wine for brunch and made the mistake of giving this place another go since it was close. Heading to the counter and putting my phone # in I was told by the female associate that my number was no good. I entered again. Told the same thing. I stated this is my only number and the one linked to my account for years. After entering a third time I was told I could purchase, just not with the discount. I was in the middle of asking her to enter the number herself when I noticed the screen said "extracare member". I stopped and asked if my number was read. She simply said "yes". I stated that the problem must have been the system and not my number then. To this statement I got a glare like I insulted her child. She completed ringing me up, tossed the receipt on the counter and walked away. No "thank you", no apology, nothing. Absolutely putrid place and staff. Do yourself a favor and drive a few blocks more to another one and save yourself the aggravation. They'll probably be out of whatever you were coming in for anyway. read more

I've been on hold waiting to talk to a pharmacist now for 20 min. I waited the same amount of time yesterday before I hung up. I went in the other day and the line was from the pharmacy in back to the front of the store. They do covid testing in the drive thru which makes it impossible to go to. I'm just not sure how I'm supposed to get my prescriptions if I'm a person with a weakened immune system who is supposed to avoid crowds and I can't even get anyone on the phone to put the script through... There are plenty of testing sites, why use a place where sick people need to pick up medicine? read more

This is my neighborhood pharmacy but I hate them so much. Not only is the staff the epitome of unfriendly, but they also play loose with the truth. I've been getting my prescription filled there for years. Again, local. I've had many issues with them in the past but this recent lack of professionalism just crossed a line. They tried to tell me that they reached out to my doctor for a refill. One "technician" (I refuse to call her a pharmacist) tried to say that they reached out several times. When I asked them to prove it, guess what, oh, it was only once. Come to find out, the ONE TIME they reached out was the time while I was standing in front of them. Unfreakingbelievable. Believe me, I am not writing this because I am bored, but I AM upset. Called to see about getting my prescriptions delivered since I am sick. This was at 8:15 am. I tried to do everything online, but it kept telling me I had to call (have no idea why). Person answered and said she had a call ahead of me...no problem. However, they left me on hold for 28 minutes, never came back, said "can I help you", NOTHING. I finally got out of bed, got dressed, and drove there. Still on hold. After they took 10 minutes to wait on me, finally got the meds, and told them I needed to talk to someone about being left on hold with no one ever checking in. I was still on hold! She informed me they are a very busy pharmacy. Well, all customers must be on foot then, as there were 2 cars in the lot and one other person at the drive-thru next to me, who drove up about 5 minutes after I got there. NOTHING, SHORT OF A LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCY, demands a customer be left on hold that long. When I drove away, I was STILL on hold. My husband had a run-in with them last November when they failed to notify me that my pain meds (after major surgery) were ready. He went up there to see what was happening and they told him they couldn't sell them to him as they were closing. He is not easily riled, but he told them they WOULD sell them to him as I was in so much pain. After hem-hawing around, they finally sold them to him. (BTW, there was no codeine in the medication, or anything like that--pretty much a pain reliever to get me thru a few more days) I SWORE, AFTER THAT, I WOULD NEVER GO BACK, but with the Covid limitations, I did. Well, NOPE...never again. I might go in to grab something OTC, but never again with scrips. Everything will get transferred as soon as I start feeling better. The pharmacy and the staff are very unprofessional. They allow anyone to go infront of you and get vaccinated. Yes we need all to get vaccinated ASAP to go back to " normal". However, if someone makes an appointment they should go ahead of others who do not have an appointment. Brought up the attention to pharmacist Pamela M. She basically did not care nor apologized for the wait. She is also the manager of the pharmacy, believes it's okay as long as everyone gets vaccinated. Your TIME as a customer doesn't matter. Customer service sucks at this location. This incident occured between 7:10 pm-7:30 pm on Monday 2/26/2024. I went to pickup my meds but they weren't ready yet. Had to wait for them but the pharmacy was able to help me. The problem started when on my way out of the store I realized I needed cash & so I used their ATM. The ATM like all ATM's discharged $20 bills only & I needed smaller bills. So, I asked the front cashier FAHMIDA if she could break a couple of $20 bills. She promptly denied saying if I needed change than I have to buy something. Mind you I was still holding the pharmacy bag that had the medications I just paid for. She refused to help even after I pointed it out to her. When I said I've been coming to the store for years & no one has said this to me before, FAHMIDA said she is new & can't go against what was told to her, which sounded like a obvious lie but I didn't want to waste anymore time on her & walked out. So, there you have it folks apparently CVS is now asking their staff to force sale things customers who already bought stuff! 7/13/2020 Very rude customer service at this location. I made sure this location had Passport Photo access. I was at a CVS in sherman oaks on 7/11/2020 that also had passport photo but I messed up and didn't want my friend waiting for me to do it all over again. Came to this location to get my passport photo taken. I can see the passport photo area as I wait in line. Cashier Lady said they aren't doing them because of the COVID-19. I asked if that was ALL CVS stores and she lied to me and said YES, ALL CVS WILL NOT DO PASSPORT PHOTOS because of COVID-19. TERRIBLE service from this location, first of all i get called to refill my prescription medications and that my refills are ready for pick up, when i get there not only are they not ready but they are charging me because they cant add my insurance even tho its alright on file, second i have the cvs rewards and they wouldn't take my card, or phone number or even the app on my phone for the discount on the other things i bought. I ended up going to the other location where instead of paying close to 50$ i only payed 27$. Huge difference. read more

I had my second COVID shot done in this CVS branch. I had my first dose in a different company which I didn't feel they cared about my well being. I must say this CVS pharmacist was really friendly and she had a really good shot technique. It didn't hurt at all. She also advised me not to take any ibuprofen within next 24 hours and stayed in the store for 15 minutes. This nice experience is definitely a big contrast from where i got my first shot (the pharmacist didn't even look at me). I recommend getting your COVID shot in this CVS branch. read more

Customer's always wrong according to Mike Landrey, worst manager I've ever come across. False advertisement in a magazine and he couldn't even apologize for the mistake. Instead he ignored me with interruptions of excuses and denial. I was there for 30 minutes asking for help when no one came. Where was the manager then? When I did try to buy my product he did not like my tone... So he took them off the shelf and said never come back!!! I could not believe what I was hearing! Don't ever go to cvs. Walgreens is the only place i have found that honors their customers. Why do these places have so little staff? I begged for help. No help equals no money CVS. Once in a while they have really good discounts on cosmetics and vitamins. Today they had a lot of 75% but none of the item were available :( Parking is never am issue which is awesome. Store is always clean and staff is friendly. At the pharmacy a very nice lady, if my memory serves me right, by the name Jennifer helped me out and was very helpful. Terrible service I came to drop off a prescription order and was told it would take an hour to pick up. I came back and hour later only to be told by Kevin that something was wrong and I would have to wait and additional 15mins to expedite the order. I come back 15mins later to be told by Kevin his manager Eddie went on break and I would now have to wait an additional 30mins until he returns from his lunch. My issue isn't the wait it's the lack of communication when it comes to meeting expectations. Why would the doctor go to lunch knowing there was an order that needed to be expedited? Are lunches not on a consistent basis? So why not plan that when telling me my order would be ready in a hour, you should have said 2hrs instead of wasting my time. There was no remorse just attitudes and no consideration of peoples time. Completely disgusting and disrespectful! read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. I have never in my life experienced such a lack of professionalism, efficiency or even common courtesy. In. My. LIFE. WHat caused me to transfer all 4 of my prescriptions away from CVS after a number of years of being happy with their service is that after moving (I previously used the Granada Hills location for 4 or 5 yrs.), I found the closest location was the Winnetka location on Roscoe / De Soto. They had a Drive Thru, which initially was a delight to find out; then I found out the wait was just as long, or longer! That and there's usually homeless along the driveway to the pharmacy, and remnants of vagrancy - seriously, CVS?! No one can clean this up?! Now to the issues. I no longer drive, so getting there is a major undertaking. I went there last week to pick up all 4 of my prescriptions, which I confirmed were "Ready for Pick-Up" the day before. Getting there, after a HUGE long wait in line, I was told 1 of my meds was "Unavailable". It was in her hand. With my NAME on it! She tells me the day before, it had been filled there, then the Van Nuys location transferred it over there, then out again to some unknown location. She said 3 of them looked at the details to confirm this. And apparently none of these 3 people was capable of seeing that I clearly did NOT have my medication, and simply transfer it back INTO their system which is apparently a simple administrative task no one there was capable (or willing) to do. After leaving there, I knew better than to rely on them to 'follow up and get this straightened out', so I called the Van Nuys location myself, and according to them, not only did this NOT occur, but they've had no dealing with my prescriptions for several months (when I was working nearby & switched to that location briefly). Next day, I get an email asking for my feedback, which I HAPPILY gave, since I hoped it would enact improvements!! I received an email to follow that from one of their managers asking me to reach out to them personally. I tried. I was on-hold for 30 (yes, THIRTY) minutes! I had to get to work; I simply replied to her email, detailing the problem NOW was I was going to be out of medication, which is known to cause health issues when on a "maintenance" medication, particularly one dealing with psychiatric issues (panic disorder / depression). This was several days ago and yet no follow-up from the pharmacist, a HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL! I have been experiencing terrible side effects for 3 days now, causing loss of work, amoung other things! In MY calling them, I wasted an hour of my time while they put me on hold over and again. One of the 'guilty' parties today was Jesse, one of the store managers, who at 2:48 told me the Pharmacy Manager was on another call with a doctor and she'd have to call me back, but she was off at 3...(sigh). I started to fill in the after-email details about my call to the Van Nuys location, and as "luck" would have it, the pharmacist became 'available', he tells me he's transferring me over to her; another 15 mins. I'll never get back, and it's 3:03, so I hang up and call back, and we play out this same crap. He says this time he'll go back to the pharmacy to make sure she gets the call. 10 mins. later, no one picked up. At that point, I'm DONE! Now another pharmacy has my $$ and I couldn't be happier. They have mail order and delivery, so CVS, open your eyes and get with the freaking program!! read more

I submitted a refill request for my medication. I have a pharmacy deductible of $300 but the claim adjudicated at $339. How is that possible? On Sunday I went through the drive-thru to pick up my med and it was still showing $339. The tech at the window told me that the pharmacist was out to lunch and wasn't able to re-process the claim. I've been coming here for years; every month I get two prescriptions refilled (at different times, of course) and every month I go back and forth from my doctor's office (who says they never got the refill order) to the pharmacy (who says they sent it twic). Yesterday, I called to see if they received my online request for a refill and I was on hold for 45 minutes when I decided I'd had enough and drove over there, waited in the drive thru line, and when it was my turn I showed the man my phone which was now up to 59 minutes' wait time. His response: Well, we're busy. I'm looking for another pharmacy, this is beyond excusable. My husband uses Walgreens on Saticoy and Topanga and he has problems there too.
