I would like to thank Jennifer for providing such a great customer service. Everyone else at the pharmacy is also always positive and courteous. It's been years since I've been shopping here and I rarely saw long lines, unless it's a holiday or some sort or Black Friday. So, yes I recommend it and totally support Betsy's review :) read more

Slow Pharmacy and Terrible customer services and they do nothing to make it better; they have lost my medications several times. The last time I was there was the straw that broke the camels back for me. They make people wait a long time just for a pick-up. read more

I just transferred all my prescriptions to CVS at Roscoe and De Soto. The second time I went in to pick up an order the girl behind the counter (Yesenia) addressed me by name. I was hooked. I get a phone call and a text when my prescriptions are ready and they also have automatic refills. No more forgetting to refill. Yesterday my doctor placed an order at 3pm I got a text it was ready at 6pm. I am on a treatment similar to kemo therapy but the side effects are not as bad. I am taking allot of different drugs right now and they have everything in stock. Changing to this pharmacy was the best decision I have made in a long time. Thank you for taking such good care of me during this time of my life. read more

I know it sucks to be a cashier but don't be a bitch to people ... Especially the cashier named Ana ... Would never come back to this store even its a block away ... Where did you see a cashier rudely nagged a customer ... First time ever in my life this happened ... read more

This is for the pharmacy only: they are always nice, but sometimes slow to refill existing and process new rx. This is at the counter and at the drive through. They put one of my meds on auto refill, even though I never asked them to. I had to ask them twice to stop, before the monthly pick up calls stopped. My big issue is that I have an rx that requires a call into a program to verify info. Everytime, they put that call on speaker, presumably to make it easier to keep typing/working. The program name is said loud and clear several times, as is my birth date. It's nothing super embarrassing, but still....I don't need my business broadcast to all within earshot. aren't there laws against that?? read more

CVS should be called CVS supermarket not CVS pharmacy coz they carry more non pharmacy merchandise than the actual meds. You walk inside and see candies, snacks, as seen on tv products but you have to walk all the way ay the back only to find they don't carry medicine such as pain reliever, vitamin, etc. read more

I had a really good experience at this CVS pharmacy. When the one directly across the street from me couldn't help me at all, I called this one. They were able to order the brand prescription instead of the generic which made a lot of difference to me. I will definitely come back here. read more

I usually find what I'm looking for here, the only thing I don't usually find is the silicone CVS brand ear plugs. The staff is pretty nice, although it seems like they are always doing inventory, one part of the store seems to always be in some sort of shamble. It's decent for what it is, I wish it was 24 hours though, that would be really helpful. read more

I picked up a prescription for my Mom, who is handicapped and can't go herself. I asked if it was the drops from a dropper that she was waiting for because she is unable to open foil pouches..I was told yes. The cost of it was exortbitant - a price my Mom has never had to pay before so I was shocked. I don't blame the pharmacy for the cost, but I knew for the next month I would have to shop around for my Mom because she simply would not be able to afford it monthly. I brought it to my Mom, and she said it was exactly what she already received from another on-line pharmacy (for $95 cheaper) - the one she could not open with her hands - the foil pouches. I returned it to this CVS and the pharmacist with the dark hair up in a pony tail - a woman, was rude and said they would not take it back because it left the premises. She was very clear and put the most importance on the fact, "THIS IS NOT OUR FAULT". She was more concerned about blame, than a misunderstanding between me and the woman I picked it up from initially (who wasn't there when I came back), or that this was now going to be a whole lot of money from my retired mother's account, for something she could not use. That was of no concern to her. Covering her butt was all she cared about. Next time, though I won't be using this pharmacy ever again, I guess I'm supposed to wheel my Mom in in a wheel chair. I am so upset with this pharmacy. There was no "How can we make this right, or I understand your situation, or here's how to make sure you get the right thing next time...." Just.."THIS IS NOT OUR FAULT!!!". It is YOUR fault that you have no humanity and no care for people who live with a limited income where every cent counts. It is your fault that the woman I picked it up from didn't listen to anything I said, otherwise it wouldn't have been given to me. The pouches were encased in a box that I did not open to make sure they were droppers before I left. I wouldn't have thought I'd had to - especially after asking. So yes, CVS.. It IS YOUR FAULT!! read more

This location is always under-staffed. Rx are hardly prepared even after a 4hr call in from a physician. Excuses are made and they didn't apologize for the inconvenience. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been too. I used to go to DESOTO pharmacy which was a dream. Friendly staff, and amazing customer service. Cvs on the other hand is the opposite. The staff is not knowledgeable about medication, co payments and insurances and to top it if they are extremely rude, I'm sorry you actually have to do your job? I had to call my Dr. multiple times myself to try and get my prescription filled. They refused to call my Drs office to get approval for my meds which I didn't get filled until a week after I should of had them. They also charged me $50 for my prescription which actually should have been covered by my insurance. So again I had to go out of my way and drive all the way back for a refund since I should have never been charged in the first place! If your looking for a great quality pharmacy cvs is definitely not the place to go. I will be taking my business to reliable pharmacy in reseda and Roscoe where they actually appreciate and care about the customers. Stay away from this cvs read more

The male pharmacist here is about as pleasant and helpful over the phone or in person as an irate crocodile on the Nile riverbanks. He doesn't give you information unless you drag it out of him and carries himself with the attitude of wanting you off the phone so he can go back to doing whatever. We had to basically give up asking him about an OTC for ear infections and after dialing the Winnetka location on Vanowen we received the help we should've gotten from this Canoga Park branch. Well, at least Mr. Pharmacist is back to sunning himself on the mudbank along with the other crocs. read more

Very nice staff but EXTREMELY slow and always busy. Seems like they are always under staffed. Takes forever for medications to be processed.

I have used this pharmacy often recently and the service has improved. The staff in this pharmacy are always working, never an idle staff member. read more
