This is a relatively new CVS pharmacy which was built directly across from Walgreens. It is very convenient if one store doesn't carry a particular item, you will find that the other store usually does. There is a big price difference between the two locations. They both have their own storebrand options for most over-the-counter items but each item can be between one and three dollars more expensive. It truly pays to shop around. There is plenty of off the street parking. The store is well stocked and it has a group of well-trained, helpful staff. The lines at the pharmacy seem to move extremely slowly every time I have been there. read more

Terrible service, always a long wait, never gives accurate information regarding prescriptions and never gives customers updates regarding their prescriptions. They always have an excuse about something and are never apologetic. This place needs to be shut down!! read more

I moved my prescriptions here from Stop and Shop when I moved to West Haven last month and I'm going to move all my prescriptions back to Stop and Shop. All three times I've been here the lines have been long, the techs have been disorganized and rude, snd I've had to wait days for refills for medications I've been out of because a med wasn't ordered in time. The is a newer store and I love the staff. The pharmacy however is another story. I get it, it's a busy place, but there was a time when this was the best Pharmacy around they had the best pharmacy techs and the pharmacist actually were personable and friendly. Not sure what's changed but I can tell you they rush you off the phone if they can't ansewer the question in under 30 seconds. And there never seems to be a good time to call this location anymore. Bottom line insurance isn't always to blame, nor is it always the software. Just saying. I shouldn't have to constantly call every time when I'm about to run out of a specially script. I can go for days without a scrip before it gets re-filled. read more

Scheduled COVID test drive thru for 4:30 got here in line at 4:12 and have waited till 5:04 my turn at the window was asked my name to then be waiting ten mins later asked for confirmation code.finally left at 5:19!! Not sure if it's a staffing issue but this is done for convenience and it's nothing short of miserable when someone has two screaming kids in the car. Absolutely ridiculous!Needs to be better executed. read more

Pharmacy is the WORST- never has my medication "in stock" it's always "tomorrow " -tomorrow turned into a week last month- & happening again this month- I also do not need the employees to tell me "you do know it's a controlled substance ". Yes I'm well aware of what my prescription is - very nasty and rude - but I'm forced to use them because of my insurance. Perhaps they need more training in "customer service". read more

The pharmacist at this CVS is the worst. Rude, judgey, etc. Better hope she approves of your Rx, or she won't fill it. THE WORST!

A larger and very organized and clean CVS that is open 24 hours. Team was helpful when looking for particular items and always well staffed. read more

This place is trash! The cashier made an error on the register and used my CarePass. When she tried to fix her error my coupons were used and the manager, Makayla was EXTREMELY unprofessional. I thought I cancelled my membership since I'm paying to be defrauded until seen I was charged again today. The people on the phone couldn't help me after being transferred FIVE TIMES! Now id rather go to a morgue than to go to CVS!! How do you charge a customer to use a service to tell them they can't use it when THEIR cashiers screw up. Fraud to me! read more

CVS. (in my view) practices false advertising/. I went to purchase my normal probiact. The SIGN said:" Buy one get the 2nd at 50% off. I proceeded to the register to purchase, I was informed by the manager that it does not start until next week. I said, "BUT YOUR SIGN IS ADVERTIZING NOW. sHE SAID WE PPUT THEM UP EARLY AND JUST RAISED HER HANDS IN THE AIR! I am forced my my Medical Ins to get my prescriptions there... but I will never ever buy another product there! read more

This is the most unprofessional and incompetent staff I've ever dealt with. I was given misinformation multiple times on instructions to resolve an issue that they messed up in the first place. My next step is contacting the better business bureau. I'm am now in a situation where I don't have necessary medication and I'm stuck waiting two days to get it. read more
