Yes CVS can contact with your authorization, but as a patient it is your responsibility to make those calls and appointments to continue your medication. I have been to this location a few times. Each time there is irate customers who do not understand that process. They also do not get why insurances have to have the approval from doctors before prescriptions can be filled. The staff have handled everything with elegance and friendly responses. Though customers do not see it that way. Because how the pharmacy handles these customers and how diligent they are to solving and filling medications they get 5 stars.

Most places closed early, this place saved the day so we could start the medication right away. We also did not need to put in any insurance information or our personal information. I used them for 4 years with pretty much no issues. Sadly all that changed in October 2024. For 3 months straight, there was nothing but issues. Not sure what happened, other than them being audited by the DEA. Suddenly, all of the "rules" changed without even letting people know & getting an attitude when asked questions like "oh, I had no idea when did that change cause I've always been able to do that?" For 4 years, i had no issue paying cash for whatever my insurance didn't cover. They let me do it several times, but apparently that changed and somehow i was supposed to just magically know that they aren't doing that anymore. Uh, OK, how? The woman was extremely hostile, rude & argumentative when asked ANY reasonable questions. Around the 3rd month of dealing with prescription & insurance issues (that THEY CAUSED!) I noticed they were screening my calls. If I called with my normal number, the phone would either ring endlessly or they would pick it up and immediately hang up. In order to get them to answer my calls, I had to resort to dialing *67 before their number, so my number came up as private. What do you know, i got an answer every single time that way. It was as if the pharmacy was run by an immature child. Ultimately, they decided out of nowhere that they weren't going to fill any of my prescriptions anymore. OVER THE ISSUES THEY CAUSED!! They didn't bother to have the decency to call and tell me they were refusing to fill my medications. Instead, they just let my prescriptions sit without saying a word. Leaving me to call several times in order to FINALLY get a bs answer. The woman in charge never bothered to return my call as promised. All they would even say is that "there's a note on your chart and it says we're discharging you from the pharmacy." How is it MY fault that YOU screwed up? So, punish people that have loyally patronized & recommended your business for 4 years because YOU guys screwed up & billed my insurance wrong & messed up my medications for months?! The pharmacy staff are friendly and happy to help with any questions. They are always smiling and cheerful when helping us. We made appointments for 10:30am today, 9/28/2024 to get our Moderna Covid vaccine and the nice pharmacist lady had us in and out within 7 minutes. We were here about a month ago (with an appointment ) for our fall flu shots and our visit was the same, in and out quickly with a different pharmacist.
