Yes CVS can contact with your authorization, but as a patient it is your responsibility to make those calls and appointments to continue your medication. I have been to this location a few times. Each time there is irate customers who do not understand that process. They also do not get why insurances have to have the approval from doctors before prescriptions can be filled. The staff have handled everything with elegance and friendly responses. Though customers do not see it that way. Because how the pharmacy handles these customers and how diligent they are to solving and filling medications they get 5 stars.

Whether it's drive through or going inside, sometimes I am able to get my prescription and get out of there, other times I'm waiting for a long time. It's a bit frustrating because any time I'm in a hurry, it seems like I get the slow speed checkout. At least the price is relatively cheap here for prescriptions.

Pharmacist trying to be a doctor instead of doing what the doctor tells them to do. Changed pharmacy because of this and they filled the same medication that day. It's difficult enough being on controlled medications, ultimately the physician prescribing them is the responsible party along with the patient taking the medications.

I Dropped off an RX days ago and requested refills of all medication before the EOY. I called today to find out why I haven't received any notice that anything is ready. Turns out, the person working at the time didn't complete ANY of the requested orders, so nothing was done until today when I called up there. As Hugh became volatile, I asked to speak with someone else who wasn't him, and he refused, but he also refused to give me back my prescriptions. THIS IS NOT LEGAL. Luckily I was able to have someone obtain my emergency inhaler, but he is truly sick and should not be providing any type of medical service. I filed a complaint with CVS but will also be filing one with the state of Michigan. Go literally anywhere else!

I went in-person and discussed status on my RX, they said they are waiting for Preauthorization. A week later I go in again and they said they never received the RX ever. I showed them my voice mail saying it was in process. I also told them I spoke with them in-person. But they have no record of the RX!! So back to square one with the DR resending it to them. Their drive thru is constantly closed. They are rude and unprofessional. I asked when refilling another RX what time would it be ready and she snarkly said a few hours. I asked about what time? She said "I told you a few hours". I then asked in "two hours"? She said no... 3 hours. Why didn't she just tell me that in the first place? Instead of being rude and flippant about it!

At first, they would always get the price wrong for my meds. Eventually, they learned and I learned how to deal with the different meds and prices. Still Hint: Rash is the guy! I have finally decided I will never return here after being forced too from Rite Aid shutting down. The automated call system is HORRIBLE.
