Routine pharmacy CVS. Pharmacy closes for lunch 1 PM to 2 PM. Something new. I guess some of the professional skin take a break. But if you're dropping off and picking up, can't have one clerk working during the lunch hour all the pharmacy patrons have to wait. Many of us are in pain and or uncomfortable. I long for the days before the corporations put the neighborhood drug store out of business and you could walk in, plop a prescription down and have it filled. All these big box drug stores are understaffed and poorly organized. I've been waiting days for a prescription to be refilled. (when a prescription is ready for pick up there is no notification, either by phone or e mail, even though there is supposed to be.} The area set aside for vaccinations is out in the main store with no consideration for privacy. We've used this CVS for the last 25 years. This place is falling apart. Drive through is usually closed due to staffing problems. Now you have to go in to pick up your med. Which would be alright. Who doesn't need to add some steps these days? But there's zero chance your scrip will be ready the day it's been called in as they're short handed. So when you go in to ask if it's ready they'll tell you it's "in progress" but if you don't mind waiting 15-30 min they can "expedite it" for you. Which means they've done nothing with your scrip since it was called in. So hey, maybe you think you can call ahead, right? Nope. They don't/ can't answer the phone anymore. I called last week and waited for 15 minutes on hold with no answer. As I waited in the store for a scrip yesterday the "One pharmacy call" blared out from their phone system continuously. That call was never answered. In speaking to a couple employees(none of this is their fault)as of 6/9/22 one pharmacist already quit, another's last day in this Saturday and another is leaving in a month. And what used to be a neat orderly pharmacy has storage boxes, basket with pill bottles in them laying/stacked all over the place. Chaotic and disorganized, understaffed, overworked and ripe for medication errors. Be very careful here. Try Walgreen's! I'm going to. read more

This pharmacy has gone downhill exponentially in recent years. What once was a pleasant experience has turned into a nightmare. Six people fraternizing after their lunch break while the line waiting for prescriptions expands. They should stagger lunch breaks to improve service. The "pharmacist" was unkempt and unhelpful. And surly. When I pointed out to him the fact that I had not been notified, he said he didn't like my attitude. This would be comical if these people were not working with medications. read more

The front of store is fine. The pharmacy was wonderful, but corporate has destroyed what was once a well organized perfectly functional pharmacy. They do not staff it, over burden the pharmacists, and the turn over is high. I've waited 3 days for medications to be filled. Some people rely on medications that they need daily. Like cardiac meds. An over worked exhausted pharmacist is going to make mistakes. People are going to get the wrong meds. It's not fair to these well schooled professionals. Forget the vaccinations and go back to being a real pharmacy. I've pulled my prescriptions out of there. read more

This review is critical of the corporation NOT the workers. The pharmacy staff is clearly overworked and underpaid. They're scrambling to help customers in store, on the phone, and at the window. I've found that if my Rx is out of stock it can stay "in progress" for weeks until I call THEN it gets ordered. They used to be a smiling, easygoing bunch back there and now you can't even coax a smile out of them. Probably because they're getting yelled at by impatient customers all day. For goodness' sake pay these people what they're worth and get them the help they need to do their jobs--what they do impacts lives--literally! read more

It's not the greatest, not the worst either. A lot of people need to learn to have patience. There is clearly a shortage (nationally) of pharmacists and pharmacist assistant's. No one is purposefully delaying or wanting to make you wait for medications.. They seem to be trying their hardest to make things work despite the issues. read more

My mom got the vaccine here. The only thing she didn't like is that they dont show you the vaccine they just go straight to injecting it which i feel like is concerning. read more

Pleasant pharmacy staff both times I need prescriptions filled day of. Staff at the front desk were helpful as well.

Be aware that if you use this pharmacy, you will not get prescriptions in a timely fashion. Maintenance drugs can take almost a week to get filled and antibiotics take up to 2 days, so you best make sure that infection isn't deadly, because your drugs will not be ready in time. Plan at least 2 trips to the location before you get what you originally came for. Also, as if it wasn't hard enough to get things done at this location, they now leave the pharmacy for lunch and don't service customers during that hour or so. You can see the staff in there, but they will just ignore you. They claim they are understaffed but I always count at least 4 employees behind the counter. Worst pharmacy I have been to. read more

Absolutely the worst CVS around, even managing to outdo Rocky Point CVS in its complete disregard for customers. I've spoken to managers and have complained to Corporate (who promised action from the District Manager... still waiting). They are excruciatingly slow, leading to long lines snaking around the aisles. The phone is always ringing, and always ignored, leading to constant loudspeaker announcements of how many phone lines need to be picked up (usually 4 or 5, but nobody seems to care enough to pick them up). The workers complain of being short staffed constantly and always seem to be hiring new people to replace the burnt-out ones. They have a drive-thru window which is adorned with notices that the window is closed due to staffing. The manager says that this will be the case for the foreseeable future. The store is near many senior developments whose residents cannot always walk-in to get their prescriptions. I dislike mail order prescriptions, but I am forced to get them now because I do not want to be aggravated by going to this store anymore. read more

I had a negative experience at drive-thru pharmacy. The man working the counter was rude. There was an issue with my prescription and instead of trying to help he just said "I don't know what to tell you, it's not here". Instead of trying to resolve the issue he just continued being rude by stating "You can't just park here". I was in no way parking there. I was offended by this man. Cvs pharmacy used to be my favorite drugstore for beauty and filling prescriptions. Over the years the prices have sky rocketed on products I regularly buy and need such as deodorant, hair dye, etc. They often have sales and coupons at a coupon kiosk. Most often I can still find the products at another store was significantly cheaper. My hair dye is about $8 cheaper at multiple stores. The pharmacy is also difficult. I often have to make about 3 trips to put the insurance through for a script even when the script is in the system for me. I also never have an accurate price for the cost so when I go in or drive thru it's a surprise. My insurance only uses Cvs which forces me to go to them. I've used about Cvs 3-4 locations for the pharmacy and it's the same hassle at each. At this one there's a great guy who knows what he's doing who is usually working the drive thru window. He is fast and usually gets the prescriptions and insurance through accurately which is why I return. read more
