There's no reason to have to wait for your arrival in order to get your prescriptions filled. My family and I transferred all of our prescriptions out. (Their co-pays are noticeably lower!) I fully support local, independent businesses; however, in good faith and with much heartfelt sadness, I can no longer recommend Baker's Pharmacy. The complaints and experiences shared by current customers whether it is wait times at the store, unnecessary and lengthy delays for medications to be ordered, or being told to go elsewhere after being loyal customers for years truly breaks my heart. I've heard so many stories...their once stellar reputation is tarnished now. I truly hope the business turns around and once again flourishes, becoming a pillar of first class service for the community.

The nurse calls the pharmacist from the hospital to confirm, nothing. They send the prescription again, nothing. I wait for an hour, it's getting close to closing and it's been a long day. The nurse calls a 24 hour cvs and sends the prescription, they confirm over the phone immediately that they have it. This seems less like a CVS or technical problem, and perhaps a hyper local pharmacist's competence problem?

The prices of OTC products are set ridiculously high, probably to take advantage of the debit cards that many insurers now issue to cover OTC products. This is price gouging. CVS prices on everything are inflated and misleading based on coupons and 2 for price of one promotions. The cost is not honored at the register and more times than not, I've had to take a photo of the sign on the shelf to get the price they claimed to offer. I stopped shopping at CVS for anything but my prescriptions. Go to WalMart instead and save your money.

Terrible Walgreens pharmacy--with abusive customer treatment and illegal discriminatory…read morepractices--that should be shut down for the safety of patrons! The registered West Milford-based pharmacist Nikolina Paskoski, who now also serves as Walgreens district manager, did an illegal, unauthorized prescription filling against the patient's clear instructions, fraudulently billing the insurance company until the illicit action could be reversed! This, after this same pharmacist refused to allow the medication prescription that was supposed to be filled to be ordered through Walgreens usual distributor system, because she wanted to first get rid of older, soiled product from other stores!! On top of all this, Paskoski discriminated against the patient on the basis of their age, disabilities and the severe, potentially fatal medical condition requiring the daily specialized medication, and had the audacity to block other pharmacists from filling the desperately-needed prescription with fresh product! So much for Walgreens' promise to serve the health and well-being of customers! Without question, this employee should be fired immediately, and not allowed to hold a NJ pharmacist license, so as to protect customers at this and other stores in the chain.

One BIG downside though... the hours right around when customers might pop in after work (6-7ish) they always seem to have someone going around the store with a floor polishing machine. It's loud, it puts out terrible smelling exhaust fumes and the operators often DONT CARE who's in the way as they push it down the aisle paying more attention to their phone than where they're going. The other day the person even pushed it down my checkout aisle WHILE I WAS CHECKING OUT! I'm done with Weis, this never happens anywhere else.

But for the customers who want to support Weis, there's zero appreciation in return, just one slap in the face after another! With some corporate scamming thrown in, as well! On the lousy self-selve registers, the software has trouble holding the scanned store card information during a multi-item order, which would be most transactions...and keeps knocking the store card necessary to obtain the sale prices off the profile! Despite scanning of the store card with assistance of a manager multiple times, sale prices still wouldn't show, causing the register to overcharge and reflect the original inflated price! Pepperidge Farm Double Dark Chocolate Milano Cookies, for eg., were supposed to be on sale for $3.99, but at Weis's faulty self-serve register, they were $4.99, causing us to overpay. Then, for the real fun and humiliation, we had to go to the customer service counter (I use the term loosely) to get the overcharge corrected, where the female employee said, quoting, "I don't want to hear your story!" More checkers need to be hired, and employees on duty need to immediately help out at other registers when the line of customers on the one open hits 10 people--or even more than 5 or 6 people! Fix the software to reflect sale prices, for goodness sake, and accommodate customers with disabilities. Who needs to spend Labor Day at the pool or beach, when you can waste away at the Franklin Weis and be made to feel like two cents?
